Heathen Announces Tour With Dust Bolt

Rock the Nation presents - Heathen, Generation Kill and Dust Bolt thrashing Europe! Grab your denim vests and leather jackets, put on those hi-tops and guzzle down a few cold beers: because a true thrash metal triumvirate is ready to lay waste to a bunch of European clubs!

The following press release was issued about the tour:

"Leading the mob will be San Francisco veterans Heathen, founded in 1984 – amongst others – by Exodus guitarist Lee Altus, they released two landmark albums with 'Breaking the Silence' (1987) and 'Victims of Deception' (1991) before things got a bit quiet in camp Heathen. They returned with the thrash manifesto 'The Evolution of Chaos' in 2010, and now the guys are busy working on new material.

"Generation Kill are being led by Exodus front beast Rob Dukes and offer a nasty mix of thrash metal and hardcore. Check out their brilliant debut 'Red, White and Blood' and bang those heads! The line-up is completed by Munich-based newcomers Dust Bolt who indulge in old school thrash metal goodness! They have recently released their great debut 'Violent Demolition.'" More...

Generation Kill Signs With Season Of Mist

Generation Kill has announced its signing with Season of Mist. The signing comes in time for the band to release its debut album, expected to hit store shelves later in the year. Generation Kill features in its ranks Exodus front man Rob Dukes. The band commented on the signing by saying:

"The writing team of Rob Dukes and Rob Moschetti are glad to be working with Season of Mist for the Generation Kill debut album. This release is the most diverse project that either of the two have been a part of.

"This is an honest, no holds barred album containing various styles of music. In a way, it is a bit of a selfish record. We wrote the kind of material that we like. You can't please everybody, so you might as well please yourself. Honestly, that's what true art is. FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION."
