Art In Exile Posts Band and Album Update

Adelaide’s Art in Exile has posted a band update on their MySpace page concerning recent and upcoming gigs, along with the bands debut full legnth recording:

"Howdy, folks! We’ve been busy over the past couple of months and it’s only going to get busier.

"Firstly, we just want to say a thank you to those who came out to support us at the recent Emergenza heats. Art In Exile made the cut and will be appearing at the next round in October, along with fellow metal maniacs Blood Mason. Great to see the Adelaide Metal brigade showing their stuff when it comes to supporting the musos keeping the metal flame blazing! Of course, keep your eyes open for further info on dates as they come to hand.

"Secondly, we are in the final stages of mixing our first full-length release, tentatively titled ‘Aeon Somnia’. We are currently looking at mastering with the now famous Jens Bogren in Sweden, also known for his work with Soilwork, Opeth and Amon Amarth to name just a few. Ten tracks in all, with music written over the course of the last five years coming together with new touches to create a stunning soundscape of our range of aural possibilities.

"Thirdly, we will be playing every month from July to October. Firstly there will be two free shows at the Cranker, first with A Murder Of Crows In July, then again on the 30th of August with Wasted Elegance and Mammoth. We then head over to Victoria, in Geelong on the 11th of Sept. and the 12th in Melbourne, with Vic. metal stalwarts Veil Of Anguish. Then, we head back to the next round of the Emergenza heats at Fowlers Live in October.

"So, we’ll be around in many ways, for you to get your fix of Art In Exile!"
