Relapse Records has issued the following announcement about inking a record deal with Howl:
"Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of Providence, RI’s HOWL.
"HOWL (Vincent Hausman – guitars, vocals, Andrea Black – guitars, Robert Icaza – bass, Timmy St. Amour – drums) formed in 2006 and have already toured extensively with many like-minded bands including KYLESA, TORCHE, YOUNG WIDOWS, COLISEUM and more.
"Howl's Hausman commented on the signing: 'We're very excited to be signed to Relapse. Relapse also has an impressive roster of former and current bands, many of which we grew up listening to. It's humbling to now be part of that family.'
"Relapse will first issue Howl's debut, self-titled EP this summer as the band continues writing for their first full-length. Audio samples taken from the EP can be heard now via the band’s MySpace page. More...
