The black / death metal barbarians from Perdition Temple today premiere a graphic new video for "Chambers of Predation," available below.
The track hails from the band's new album, "The Tempter's Victorious," recently released by Hells Headbangers, and the video for "Chambers of Predation" was filmed in conspiracy with Unearthed Films for the upcoming DVD release of an AGP (American Guinea Pig Series) film entitled "Bouquet of Guts and Gore."
As Perdition Temple guitarist Gene Palubicki expains, "I felt that many of these images from the film worked quite well with the subject manner of the lyrics to the song 'Chambers of Predation,' and as a fan of hard, extreme, and violent film, this was a fine fit to tie in with this sort of thing. The band footage was shot on traditional VHS tape camcorder - same camcorder used in film production - and the scattered and swaying camera action and unpolished visual approach ties into the scheme of the films timeline of a mid '80s-period look, where most band footage from underground shows/rehearsal rooms was likened to." Hells Headbangers just announced the final lineup for the label's three-day "Hells Headbash - Part 2" festival, set to take place in Cleveland, Ohio on September 4th - 6th.
After the first "Hells Headbash" last summer - which was held at the label's distribution warehouse, and was filmed for a special DVD release set for later this year - Hells Headbangers expanded the fest to include an additional day and with an even more epic lineup of HHR-affiliated bands.
Set to take place at the Agora Theater, "Hells Headbash - Part 2" will feature the first American performances by Satanic Warmaster and Destruktor and exclusive performances by underground legends Archgoat and Profanatica, as well as 31 other Hells Heabangers-supported bands that span the spectrum of death metal, black metal, thrash, grind, metalpunk, and plenty of filthy points in between. Perdition Temple just released a new 7" EP titled "Sovereign Of The Desolate," which can be ordered here or streamed in the player below. Hells Headbangers also comments:
"As a precursor to a highly anticipated new album for Hells Headbangers, 'The Tempter's Victorious,' American black/death barbarians Perdition Temple reveals a new 7" EP, 'Sovereign of the Desolate.'
"Aptly titled, this two-song scorcher complements the sonic devastation to be found on 'The Tempter's Victorious:' a militant, malevolent brand of blackened death metal that Perdition Temple have perfected, their crush chaotic yet controlled. However, band founder/scene veteran Gene Palubicki is joined by an elite cadre of new members here, including his old Angelcorpse guitar foil Bill Taylor (also of Immolation) and, on vocals, Black Witchery's intimidating Impurath. Both tracks here are exclusive, including a rabid, reverent cover of Blasphemy's classic 'Weltering in Blood.' Perdition Temple is the Sovereign of the Desolate!"

Hells Headbangers has announced the signing of both Blasphemic Cruelty and Perdition Temple. Both bands are helmed by guitarist Gene Palubicki, founder/songwriter of the legendary Angelcorpse. Palubicki had the following to say about both signings:
"Been a while since there has been any actual 'production' news concerning either of my active works, namely Perdition Temple and Blasphemic Cruelty. It is official at this point that both bands are no longer part of the Osmose Productions roster. It was not a bad split with my longtime former label, simply the direction the label and my bands are pursuing differs enough to make it time for a change.
"I'm quite happy to announce the new home for BOTH bands is Hells Headbangers Records! Of the several labels who contacted me and made various offers, Hells Headbangers clearly shares my vision for the course I wish to go for both bands. Hells Headbangers has a dedication to releasing the sort of products that are very much a best fit for my bands. In development currently are the sophomore full-length from Perdition Temple, and a forthcoming MLP of new Blasphemic Cruelty material."
Continuing, Palubicki says, "For lineups concerning both bands, I couldn't be more satisfied! In Perdition Temple I've got drummer Ronnie Parmer, whose been tearing it up with devilish precision with me for all the shows we've been doing for the last year now, as well as Gabriel Gozainy on bass, who completely shreds my riffs and gives our sound just that much more mayhem! And in a somewhat recent development, the lineup is now also joined by my former bandmate from past Angelcorpse times, Bill Taylor on second guitar! So on the forthcoming album, it will have been nearly 15 years ago that we both appeared on an album together [1998's Exterminate by Angelcorpse]! So the feeling going into this new is right where it needs to be! More...
Gene Palubicki of disbanded death metal band Angelcorpse has issued the following announcement about forming a new band:
"Gene here. Anyone wondering what might lie ahead for some of us after the ANGELCORPSE disbanding...? Well, from my side all the music that I've written, some of it written over 5 years ago now, will find it's home under the new moniker PERDITION TEMPLE. Musically, it is everything that has been previously intended for all forthcoming ANGELCORPSE releases. Currently label negotiations are underway for the debut release of either an E.P. or possible full length. The current lineup is myself on guitars/bass and Terry on drums. A search for an appropriately bestial vocalist has begun also.... Things ARE moving swiftly, as a logo has already been created by longtime Black/Death metal artist Christophe Moyen, which can be seen shortly on his webpage. More info will follow when an official PERDITION TEMPLE myspace page is set up."
