Steel Attack Reforms And Plans Tour Dates

Sweden's Steel Attack has issued the following announcement about re-forming:

"We are glad to inform you that Steel Attack is back together again and we will do at least one show with the original members Steve Steel (Stefan Westerberg 'Carnal Forge') John Allan, Dennis Westman & Andereas de Vera from the two first Steel Attack albums. We will only play songs from 'where mankind fails' and 'Fall into madness.' We did our first rehearsal yesterday in 10 years and it sounded like we never been apart! All updates will be posted later on with date and venue. Also a video from our rehearhal will be online soon!"

Steel Attack Parts With Guitarist Simon Johansson

Swedish heavy metal act Steel Attack has announced that they have parted ways with guitarist Simon Johansson. A post from the band reads as follows:

"We're sad to announce that (guitarist) Simon Johansson has left the band... "due to personal reasons.

"There's no bad feelings between us, it just didn't work.... simple as that! We bow and thank you Simon, for your time and efforts!!

"At the same time, we're very glad to announce the return of Johan Jalonen Penn! Welcome back Johan."

Tad Morose Announces New Lineup

Tad Morose guitarist Christer Andersson has posted the following message online:

"Hi there everybody! We are proud to announce the new line up! After a few years with various problems it feels great that we now are a working band again! Things just didn't work out the way we wanted with Joe Comeau (ex-OVERKILL, ANNHILATOR), he is an excellent singer and a very nice guy, but it just didn't work out for us in the long run. We only did three shows and recorded a two-track demo with him. We wish him all the best!

Steel Attack Announce New Album Title

Swedish metallers STEEL ATTACK have set "Carpe DiEnd" as the title of their new album, due on February 22, 2008 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque's Sonic Train studio and it was mixed at Solnasound by Mike Wead (MERCYFUL FATE, KING DIAMOND).

STEEL ATTACK last year parted ways with Anden Andersson (bass), Tony Elfving (drums) and Johan Jalonen Penn (guitar) and replaced them with Johan Löfgren (LACK OF FAITH), Peter Morén (TAD MOROSE) and Simon Johansson (MEMORY GARDEN, ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA), respectively.

Steel Attack Reveal Album Release Date

According to the band, STEEL ATTACK will release their as-yet-untitled new album on February 22nd through Massacre Records.

As previously reported, earlier this year bassist Anden Andersson decided to leave the band to conentrate on his family and was replaced by Johan Löfgren (LACK OF FAITH). Drummer Tony Elfving and guitarist Johan Jalonen Penn also decided to move on and were replaced by Peter Morén (TAD MOROSE) and Simon Johansson (MEMORY GARDEN, ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA) respectively.

Steel Attack Release 4th Album in October

Swedish Steel Attack will release their 4th album in October through Arise Records. There's two new members in the band now: Ronny Hemlin (vocals) and Johan Jalonen (guitar).
