Following the release of fourth album "Architect of Hope," it seems there's no hope to be had for any upcoming Empires of Eden material. Stu Marshall comments on laying the band to rest:
"I am announcing here that I will not be making anymore Empires of Eden albums. The decision comes for many reasons, one most importantly that I think the series has run its course and, unless an artist has something new to say, they best leave their prior works do the talking.
"To say I am grateful for your support is an understatement. The amazing people and opportunities this (EOE) thing spawned for me is incredible. Without EOE, Death dealer and my new band Blasted to static would never have been born.
"So first, thank you for following. The 4 albums will remain a set for me. Very special in many ways. Each album contains pure performances from some incredible talent. The good news is the music output from me is increasing... two bands both with global touring plans and releases. Death Dealer releases our second album this year with European touring staring next week and, Blasted to Static’s debut will be completed soon with early 2016 touring planned. More...

Australia's Empires Of Eden released a rendition of "We Three Kings" for the holiday season. The song is available for purchase on iTunes for a limited time. All proceeds from the song will go to the "Metal For Cancer" charity. The song was mixed by guitarist Stu Marshall and sung by Cage vocalist Sean Peck.
Stu Marshall commented on the song: "This track came into being when I was hanging with Sean in California on a recent trip. It seemed a great way to honour a great song and at the same time offer something positive towards the fight for Cancer. The usual covers of Christmas carols are fairly comical and we wanted to take it the other way, much heavier and dramatic. Working with Sean on the last EOE cd was an incredible experience so it was natural for us to work on this."
Sean Peck added his comments: "Cancer has affected all of our lives directly or indirectly and we would encourage all metal heads to take the time to give just a small donation towards defeating this killer."

Guitarist Stu Marshall of Empires of Eden has checked in with the following update about the band's activity:
"It's time for a blog update on what is happening. And there has been alot going on. Being currently signed and licensed to the label's 7Hard (world) and Rockstar Records (Australia), the newest album 'Reborn in Fire' is now on shelves globally. It's great to hear from people from all over the world, please, keep the messages flowing. In other good news, a few of Europe's most prestigious metal reviewers are saying great things about the album. 7Hard contacted me the other day to say they are repressing the album due to the sales figs and it seems to be reaching metal fans everywhere.
"I can also mention I have been in contact with many of the guests since recording the album, and they are all thrilled with the end result. It's still something I enjoy listening to and there are plans afoot for album #3 next year. Next, we are trying some European and US based promoters to tour this epic, once we get some confirmation we will announce it here of course.
"This year I'll be re-mixing and remastering the debut album. The re-release will include a bonus track from US metal screamer 'Sean Peck' and with critics raving about his song on the new album, we discussed something over the top to include. I am thinking of adding a few new instrumental tracks as bonus' also. More...

Australia's Empires of Eden is set to release the new album "Reborn in Fire," which features a 30 piece orchestral score and eight vocalists, on July 16th, 2010. The band issued the following brief update about recruiting Sean Peck to perform on the album:
"Empires of Eden is very proud to announce Sean Peck as one of the feature artists on the upcoming album 'Reborn in Fire.' The screamer from San Francisco is lead vocalist for US based power metal band Cage."
Guitarist Stu Marshall also commented, "Sean was one of the guys I approached for the album after being a huge fan of his band Cage. His vocal range is something to really hear as the guy has one of the most intense and expressive voices in metal music today. The other great thing was his ability to compose material. I sent him a song that was really aggressive and he was able to rearrange the parts as he saw a best fit. Sean’s song Total Devastation is definitely the heaviest track on the CD and pure, kick in the face screaming heavy metal"
