Latest Vale Of Pnath News
Below is our complete Vale Of Pnath news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.
Vale Of Pnath has issued the following update about the progress of recording a new full-length album:
"Drums are done, guitars are done, guest solos are rolling in, and bass tracking is well underway. This will be a very, very good music album.
"We will be launching our very first Kickstarter in the next few days because well, we're broke too, and it's our turn now. And we love you guys. And we hope you have a very brutal and sick day today in the guttural slamming mosh. Tiny horns up!" More...
Following the departure of the band's vocalist, Vale Of Pnath has gone through another lineup change, this time swapping out guitarists. The group comments:
"Due to personal reasons, Vale of Pnath has parted ways with guitarist Harrison Patuto. Although his time in the band was short lived, he was an outstanding member of this band and is a fantastic guitar player. Moving on from this is always difficult but we have so much in store for you, we can't just give up.
"Having said that, we are very excited to announce that Eloy Montes of Flub will be taking over guitar duties! We are currently in the process of finishing the writing of our full length, and his contributions thus far are more than we could have asked for.
"If you aren't familiar with his playing, check out his band or even better - check out this clip of him playing the first solo in 'Sightless.'"
After splitting with the band's vocalist earlier this month, Vale Of Pnath has also cancelled upcoming tour dates. The band comments:
"Due to increasingly disastrous events within the VoP ranks, we are regretfully forced to cancel our appearance at Armstrong Metal Fest and all of the shows on our STRONGARM TO ARMSTRONG July tour.
"In June, our vocalist Stevie left the band to pursue his lifelong dream of being a master Pokémon trainer. Wishing him well but wasting no time, we took to the Internet and immediately began the hunt for a new singer.
"A few days later, Alan (bass) fractures his heel and is laid up in a cast for the next 6 weeks, unable to tour at risk of further injuring himself and requiring emergency surgery. We didn’t want to but we were prepared to tour without a bass player, embarrassingly enough we’ve done it before, it’s less than ideal but still feasable in a pinch. More...
It’s now less than a month until Armstrong Metalfest flings its doors open to the gathering masses, welcoming in another round of Canada’s long running camping festival.
Co-founder Jesse Valstar comments: “Bretton [Melanson, the other co-founder] and I started this when we were 19, and it was a large undertaking. Now we’re 26 and it’s grown beyond us! But now we have the necessary reputation to put on a hell of a show.”
And what a show it is: 36 bands in two days, topped off with Californian deathgrind stars Cattle Decapitation and Canada’s own extreme metallers Anciients. The rest of the bill is a feast of Canadian and U.S. metal, from the vicious deathcore leanings of Angelmaker to the technical heavy metal leanings in Caveat, the power-infused melodeath of the hotly-tipped Crimson Shadows to the blackened death metal roar of Xul.
As well as a stellar lineup, there’s plenty of other forms of entertainment to keep a metalhead amused. Not least, AMF have announced a full-sized wrestling ring, kindly provided by BC’s very own Thrash Wrestling, which will stage a 2-hour show, the winner receiving a custom-made AMF Championship belt. There’s also a farmer’s market on the Saturday, “perfect to get blueberries for a hangover,” quips Valstar, and a long-standing tradition of a Beer Helmet March, where the creator of the most inventive beer case helmet gets two free passes for the next year. Random participants also get merch donated kindly from various bands of the festival, so it can pay off to slap a beercase over your head and walk.
U.S. outfit Vale Of Pnath has issued the following announcement about parting ways with front man Stevie Boiser:
"Vale Of Pnath is currently on the hunt for a new vocalist and frontman. Stevie, great guy that he is, unfortunately has stepped down due to recently acquired responsibilities and hardships. We wish him all the best, but we have a lot of work to do so we would like to keep moving forward as soon as possible.
"We have a 2 week tour next month that we plan on making and recording time booked in October that we plan on using. Ideally we are searching for a full-time member, so here's the requirements for that:
– Must be awesome
– Must be 21+
– Must have valid US passport and clean criminal record for international travel
– Must be willing to write lyrics and contribute to the songwriting process
– Must be able to tour a few months out of the year (you'll have plenty of notice, don't worry)
– That's pretty much all it takes to be a band member in general
"If you meet the above requirements, and ONLY if you meet the above requirements, please message us here or send an email to moneyofpnath[at]gmail with some info about yourself, past projects, and start sending us those audition videos!!!"
Vale Of Pnath just issued the following announcement online about splitting with the band's guitar player:
"Unfortunately, we have to announce that we have parted ways with guitarist, Mikey Reeves. It has been a honor and a privilege to work with him for over 8 years.
"We still all remain good friends and wish him the best of luck. He is a rad dude and has sick band called Vimana, so keep an eye out.
"With that said, we're stoked to announce Harrison Patuto (Dissonance in Design) as a full-time member of Vale of Pnath. Many of you are already aware that Vance & Harrison collaborated to write Dissonance in Design's Sentient in 2013, and now they are collectively focusing their creative forces to bring our music to another level.
"We can't wait to see to see what comes next! See you guys on the road in April!" More...
There are many many artists in music today, from pop to metal, that would not be who they are or where they are without YouTube. The possibilities are endless when the right song or video begins to make the rounds and ends up achieving viral status that was typically never expected or intended.
The Kennedy Veil's own Gabe Seeber has decided to get more involved in creating content for fans to watch and share around via YouTube. The first of several upcoming drum play throughs has now been released for "Mental Crucifixion," a track by melodic tech death band Vale of Pnath, from the 2011 album, "Prodigal Empire."
Check it out below, and stay tuned as many more drum play through clips from Seeber will drop throughout the year.
2014 was a banner year for Gabe, with The Kennedy Veil releasing debut album, "Trinity of Falsehood" on January 21st, 2014 via Unique Leader Records, and immediately hitting the road in support of the album alongside labelmates Lord of War and Arkaik. Gabe was also a member of Sacramento tech death outfit and Unique Leader labelmates, Alterbeast. Gabe re-recorded the drums for what would become that band's UL debut album, "Immortal," which saw a release in March of 2014.
In late Spring of 2014, Gabe confirmed that he would once again be the touring drummer for Decrepit Birth for the Summer Slaughter Tour run, alongside death metal legends Morbid Angel, Dying Fetus and more. About a month after returning home from Summer Slaughter, Gabe hit the road with Alterbeast, alongside Chelsea Grin and headliners Suicide Silence and The Black Dahlia Murder for a month long tour across North America, which included being a part of the VIP Kick Off Party for Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA. In late 2014, Gabe officially parted ways with Alterbeast in order to focus more on The Kennedy Veil. More...

Brought to fruition by Unique Leader Records, Kamkikabe joined by headlining label mates/French tech death metal masters, Gorod. Additional support is provided by Inanimate Existence (Unique Leader) and Vale of Pnath (Willowtip).
Comments the band: “We couldn’t be any more stoked about this tour! An opportunity to shred with Gorod in the States is not something that happens too often. Plus, adding Inanimate Existence and Vale of Pnath to the lineup, as well as several other sick bands on select dates, makes this tour that much more crushing! We’ve been sharpening our blades to destroy every city we hit. The years of hard work and support from everyone that has helped us along the way really speaks volumes for the death metal culture that we’re lucky to have!” More...

Anatomy of I
Death Toll Rising
The Scarlet Claw
Vale of Miscreation
Vale of Pnath
Your Pain is Endearing
From Tribunal Records:
"With a name inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s novella "The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath," one might believe Denver’s Vale Of Pnath to be a new progressive art-rock group emerging from the underground, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Progressive they may be, but Vale of Pnath are nothing short of metallic extremity on all levels.
Superb production by Dave Otero (Cephalic Carnage) only helps to showcase this band’s dynamics and skillful artistry. Though "Vale Of Pnath" is only an EP it packs a full length punch and will surely have every listener reaching for their stereo’s repeat button time and time again."
