Australian Support Bands Added To Fintroll Tour

Local supporting bands have been announced for Finntroll's previously announced Australian tour. Perth's Claim the Throne will be part of the entire nationaly tour, with additional support coming from the following bands on these dates:

March 24th @ The Hifi, Brisbane – Dead Letter Opener
March 25th @ Billboard, Melbourne – Obsidieth
March 26th @ The Manning Bar, Sydney – Bane of Isildur
March 28th @ Capitol Theatre, Perth – Psychonaut

Bane Of Isildur Announces "Black Wings" Tour

Australia's Bane of Isildur has issued the following announcement about embarking on the "Black Wings" tour:

"Hail Warriors! With our debut album 'Black Wings' unleashed upon the world, we now set forth to bring the battle to the stage! We will be bringing fury and battle cries to 8 towns and cities across Australia and New Zealand through January and February 2011 on our Black Wings Tour, presented by Voltage Media and Metal Obsession. Hardened warriors from Melbourne, Order of Orias will join us for all of the battles on this tour, as well as the best local acts lending their axes and voices to the devastation. 'Black Wings' is available now through Aurora Australis, Metal Massacre, Prime Cuts, Red Eye, Utopia, Le Cabinet des Curiosities, iTunes and from the band."

Bane of Isildur Reveals New Album Details

Australian metal band Bane of Isildur has announced that their debut album “Black Wings” will be released on December 10, 2010. “Black Wings” is 58 minutes long and contains the following tracklisting:

Bane of Isildur Replaces Drummer

Sydney’s viking metal warriors Bane of Isildur has announced a new drummer:

“Due to personal reasons Erik has been removed from the band as our drummer!

“We are happy to announce the recruitment of our newest warrior David Pietersz and we are looking forward to standing side by side in many battles to come! Dave is from the melodic death metal machine Sanctium and has also worked with some of Australia’s most prominent black metal bands. Daves first attack with us will be at the Sandringham in Newtown on the 13th of May alongside Metal, Defamer(Qld) and Human(N.Z)”

The show will be part of the massive Oceanic Annihilation tour, which has finished it’s New Zealand leg but will be hitting Australia very soon.

Bane of Isildur Replaces Drummer

Triumphant death metallers Bane of Isildur have announced the depature and a new found replacement on the drums in the band.

“As you may or may not know there has been some lineup changes in the Bane of Isildur troop recently. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, Andrew is unable to continue playing drums for the band. Happily, we parted on good terms and we wish Andrew all the best with his future endeavors, he has been a true warrior and we appreciate all the work put into the project.

"It brings me honour to announce that we have recruited a new warrior to the band. Erik will be taking over where Andrew left off and his first show with us will be tonight at the Gaelic club in Surry Hills and I’m happy to say that we are currently in the process of organizing more tours and avenues to release the upcoming album.”
