U.S. black metal outfit Kult Ov Azazel has released a new official video for the song "Dawn of Luciferian Enlightenment." Comments front man Xaphan:

At this time, the band has half of a new album recorded as a pre-production demo and continues to forge forward with the pre-production recordings. “Violators of the Covenant” will be the first album recorded with the group's new line-up and will feature the recording appearances of Hag (vocals), Necrol (guitar), Armanen (bass), along with longtime members Xaphan (guitar/vocals) and Hammer (drums).

U.S. black metal bands Kult Ov Azazel and Wormreich recently concluded their “Archons ov Darkness” tour. Now the front men from both groups - Xaphan (Kult Ov Azazel) and Vulk (Wormreich) have issued tour recaps and video footage.
Xaphan comments: "Now that the first leg of the 'Archons ov Darkness' has come to an end, we'd like to thank all parties and individuals that contributed to making these dates a success. We also thank all the die-hards that showed up to witness the blasphemous destruction of Kult Ov Azazel every night. We look forward to the second leg in August with Wormreich as our direct support again. We came, we conquered, we decimated, and we will resume this all again in a few months, this time blazing a path of destruction on the Western Annihilation leg of the 'Archons ov Darkness' tour."
Vulk adds: "Archons ov Darkness Pt. I was a resounding success. We thank each and every one who came out and supported us in any way. We have successfully laid waste to the South with our brothers and close allies in Kult Ov Azazel and we shall continue to do so in other parts of the country during part II, all for the glory of Satan and the Black Flame. Expect us. Expect Kult Ov Azazel. Expect total fucking aural annihilation once again!" More...
U.S. black metal band Kult Of Azazel and Wormreich are joining forces for the "Archons Ov Darkness" tour this coming May. Kult Ov Azazel guitarist / vocalist Xaphan comments:
"After a year of down time, we are looking forward to getting back out in a live setting, playing some new music, as well as old, and just as importantly picking up where we left off with Wormreich last year due to the accident they were involved in. But most of all, this is just the rebirth. We’re back in full force and ready to leave blazing, scorched paths of annihilation to all four corners of the Earth. We’ve returned. Expect us…"
Womreich's Vulk adds: "We in Wormreich are incredibly excited to take part in the Archons ov Darkness mini-tour. As some may know, at around this time last year we were touring with Kult ov Azazel during the ill-fated Reich ov Khaos tour. To us, this is redemption and a chance to set things right with our brothers in KoA. Now that Alpha Omega is involved, we know that this run will be a success. Wormreich is sharpening its' blades in order to wreak havoc on the world once again, so fucking beware!" More...

Long running Florida metal band Kult Ov Azazel has been put down - may it rest in chaos! The band issued this statement:
"On June 10th a decision was made to disband Kult ov Azazel. This was a hard decision to make and still is bitter pill to swallow. After having to cancel all dates for the Archons ov Darkness tour it’s become apparent that over the past couple of years the band has ended up with employees rather than mates. This was a big factor in the decision to end the band.
"It’s become a financial burden to continue under the current circumstances. When camaraderie comes with a price attached it’s also a sign to the end. This was not the way Kult ov Azazel was intended to be. The band begun with two guys with a shared vision which in turn sought out other like minded individuals to create music with. It was not about money. It was not about fame. It was to write music that spoke directly to us. It was our conduit and was something we were passionate about.
"Some where down the line this ended. Passions changed with certain members, members came and went and what was left was one person trying to hold it all together, trying to keep things moving forward. That has increasingly become harder over the years. A band requires all members to have that drive otherwise stagnation begins to set in. And what is a band if only a few have that driving passion? It becomes an obstacle. That’s where the cards have fallen here.
"It’s unfortunate but at some point one has to stop dreaming and look at the cold hard reality of things. After facing reality it was evident that this decision had to be made. Thanks to all the members in current form and past that have marched within the ranks over the past seventeen years. Some of those bonds made will hold forever. With all that said, just remember that with death comes birth…" More...
Kult Ov Azazel had been working on an upcoming split release with Wormreich before that band and Khaotika were in a fatal van crash. Now Kult Of Azazel has issued the following update about the split continuing as planned:
"We'll begin recording our portion of the Kult ov Azazel/Wormreich split that was already in the pipeline before the accident happened hopefully in the next few weeks.
"Our songs that will appear have already been demo'd out and at this point we just need to get Azagkur in to do drum tracking for the three songs one which will feature Vulk from Wormreich on bass. The Wormreich portion was for the most part recorded before all this happened.
"This MUST be done to honor the memory of Vathron and Vidarr not to mention we must finish what has already been started. AMSG!"
Florida black metal outfit Kult Ov Azazel has issued the following announcement about parting ways with the band's drummer:
"Hammer has been dismissed from Kult ov Azazel. He has been replaced by Azagkur (Master (live)/Rumpelstiltskin Grinder/ex-Woe).
"We thank Hammer for his past contributions and wish him well in his future projects but at this point on it is impossible for him to continue with Kult ov Azazel.
"This is a much needed overhaul and will allow us the ability to move forward with getting a new album recorded for you all and the opportunity to do more live shows or touring in the near future. We are looking forward to destroying the masses this March and April with this new lineup!"

"We are also offering an advance track of Conquer & Decimate to all metal broadcast & internet radio shows for play. Contact email@example.com and we'll reply back with the download link. "Destroying The Sacred is also our last contracted album with Arctic Music. Florida based black metal band Kult Ov Azazel has issued the following statement:
"The release date for Destroying The Sacred has been delayed until June. We were informed from Arctic Music that the North American distributor has refused to distribute the album due to the cover art. This is the not the first time we have encountered problems likes this with our releases be it the graphic or lyrical content. We have already remedied the situation with a slip insert that will go over the cover art and the only real setback is that the original release date has been pushed back.
The good news however is we have streamed another new track on the Kult ov Azazel MySpace page. The song is Storm The Gates and is track 4 on the forthcoming album. We have also confirmed participation on a Venom tribute split with Teratism. This split vinyl release will be titled In League With Satan and released through Negativity Records with a limited run of 666 copies. We are also working on putting together a CD/DVD release to be released later in the year through Arctic Music."
