Ayin Aleph is a classically trained pianist and vocalist originally from Moscow. She began playing piano at the age of four, and at fifteen, entered the Conservatory of Moscow, where she continued to study piano. While there, she also began acting classes, and by the early 90's, had appeared in several films.
Aleph gave up acting to further her music career, and both taught piano and studied lyrical singing simultaneously in Paris. A few years later, she started recording demos, and worked with a young engineer to rework her classical arrangements to add a metal sound to them.
Aleph began production of her first full-length album, "Ayin Aleph I," in 2005. She served as author, composer, arranger, singer, pianist, and harpsichord player for the album, which was released to U.S. audiences in 2008.
