Steel Panther To Appear On Playboy's "Beach House"
Steel Panther has issued the following announcement about appearing on the upcoming series "Playboy's Beach House:"
"Playboy tv will be premiering a new reality series called 'Playboy’s Beach House' on December 3rd and guess who will be on the premier? Steel Panther Added To U.K Ozzfest Date
Californian glam metallers Steel Panther have been announced as the next act added to this year's edition of Ozzfest U.K. Steel Panther join Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Murderdolls and Skindred as well as to-be-announced support acts on the Jagermeister second stage.
Ozzfest U.K. is set to take place on Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at the 02 Arena in London, England.

Comedy Central Orders Steel Panther Pilot
Comedy Central has officially ordered up a pilot for a Steel Panther TV Show. Tentatively titled "Steel Panther," the program is a "loosely scripted" "docu-reality show" that follows the band members as they attempt to bring back heavy metal. A pilot of the show was ordered by Comedy Central for their 2010-2011 development slate.
The show is being created by heavy metal comedian Brian Posehn and Jackass director Jeff Tremaine.
Steel Panther have among their ranks ex-L.A. Guns and Fight members, and released their debut album, "Feel the Steel," last year.

Final Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgiums biggest metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has confirmed the final bands for this years edition of the event. The biggest news is that Soulfly, the band led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, will be headlining the event on the Saturday. Other bands added to the bill include New York hardcore legends Sick Of It All, former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash, Hatebreed, Revamp, Oceans Of Sadness and Dear Superstar. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 25th-27th.

Twenty Two More Bands Confirmed For Download 2010
The organisers of Britains Download festival has announced a further twenty two additions to this years lineup. Glam metal veterans Ratt and Cinderella will be performing at the event, as will British heavy metal icons Saxon. Other bands confirmed for the festival include Hellyeah, H.I.M., Airbourne, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Y&T, Unearth, Steel Panther, Job For A Cowboy, A Day To Remember, Lawnmower Deth, Coheed & Cambria, 36 Crazyfists, Dommin, Whitechapel, Taking Dawn, August Burns Red, The Blackout, Rise To Remain and We Are The Fallen.
The festival takes place at Donington Park and will be held from friday the 11th of June to sunday the 13th. Other bands confirmed for the festival include Motorhead, Megadeth, Deftones and Them Crooked Vultures, as well as headlining acts AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith.

Among the latest acts are American supergroup Hellyeah, Australian rockers Airbourne and British heavy metal veterans Raven. The other confirmed bands are Katatonia, Evergrey, The Devil's Blood, Eluveitie, Finntroll, Dark Funeral, 3 Inches Of Blood and Sylosis. Metal Hammer To Release Three Tribute Albums
Britains Metal Hammer magazine has announced that they will be releasing three tribute albums later this year, to celebrate the anniversarys of some of the biggest albums in metal and hard rock. A Black Sabbath tribute album will be released to celebrate fourty years since the band released their debut record and will feature performances from Electric Wizard, Turisas and Apocalyptica, who have confirmed that they will be covering the song, "Spiral Architect."
The magazine will also pay tribute to AC/DC's "Back In Black" album, which was originally released in 1980 and will include covers by Steel Panther and Skindred amongst others. Skindred has revealed that they will be covering the song, "Back In Black."
To complete the trilogy, a tribute album of Judas Priest songs will be issued to celebrate thirty years since the band broke into the mainstream with "British Steel." White Wizzard have been confirmed for the CD, as have Trigger The Bloodshed, who will be performing a rendition of the song, "Rapid Fire."

Steel Panther will be headed off for three tour dates in the U.K. later this month, but prior to their mini-tour the band members will be answering fan questions via a MySpace web chat on Wednesday, March 17th. Four More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010
The organisers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival has announced that four more bands have now been added to the lineup. The biggest announcement is that Aerosmith will be headlining the event on the friday. Also joining them that day will be reunited California grungers Stone Temple Pilots. Industrial metal legends Fear Factory will be performing at the festival and so will Atlanta based metal outfit Mastodon, who are still touring in support of their critically acclaimed album, "Crack The Skye."

At LAX, Axl Rose (GUNS N ROSES) got into a scuffle with a paparazzo that ended up with a few bloodied participants. Even with Rose flying to Taiwan there is still concern about whether he will be in the mood to perform, a question that had been raised earlier in the week when the rest of the band flew to the gig without the singer.
