Van Halen announced that they have completed mixing their new album. This news jumped the Vegas line from 50-1 to a 10-1 shot of this album actually happening. It has been 27 years since the last David Lee Roth-Van Halen album. A lot has changed during this time, a few examples: In 1984 The Cosby show premiered along with “Cosby Sweaters”, it was also the year the AIDS virus was discovered. Apparently there is no connection between the two. It was also the year stonewashed jeans were introduced. Vanessa Williams was stripped (pun intended) of her Miss America crown when nude photos were discovered and Michael Jackson’s hair caught fire during the shooting of a Pepsi commercial. Apparently these events also had no connection to the discovery of AIDS, despite many remaining suspicious… More...

February 14th is a date that means different things to different people. For some, Valentine’s Day is that special occasion to show someone how much you care, while for others it’s an unfortunate reminder of just how long that unused condom has been stashed in your wallet. For every lucky gentleman who has found the lady he can sexually accost without fear of court mandated harassment classes, there’s that lonely soul who will spend Valentine’s Day with nothing but music out the speakers and a bottle of Jack.
No matter which side you fall on, heavy metal has got a song to match your mood and help you head bang through the gooiest of all the holidays.
Whether any given track is purposefully over the top and funny, depressing enough to make you pull out the eyeliner and candles, or just plain outright disturbing, metal is no stranger to the anti-love song. So for those of you will be spending Valentine’s Day alone, or just simply think the holiday is nothing more than a marketing ploy to sell chocolates and greeting cards, here’s a series of anti-love anthems to get you through the day.
For those who still have a heart and haven't devolved into extreme cynicism, you can also check out our companion listing of pro-love heavy metal music at this location.
Metalunderground.com is no stranger to aberrant sexual behavior, as we have the honor of being home the infamous “I’d put my tongue in her butt” forum thread. The following, um, “tongue-in-cheek” songs are all dedicated to everyone who has ever contributed a post to that thread.
Whether 80’s glam rock parody/tribute act Steel Panther is singing love songs or anti-love songs is a matter of some debate. What could be more loving than each band member’s willingness to sleep with anything that moves, regardless of VD status? Take the particularly touching song “Turn Out The Lights,” in which we are informed that front man Michael Starr is in desperate need of some physical attention, even though his partner actively disgusts him. What’s a horny rock star to do? Look no further than the title for the answer:
Zloz.com has posted a video interview online with members Michael Starr and Lexxi Foxxx of Steel Panther, which can be viewed in two parts below. Steel Panther also commented on the videos:
"Michael Starr and Lexxi Foxxx stopped by 'The Zloz Hour' to check out Sandy’s new push-up bra! Oh, and an interview, too. Michael and Lexxi go back 20 years to clear up myths surrounding the band and explain how they got to where they are today. You’ll even learn how the name 'Steel Panther' originated! It’s a very informative interview and entertaining interview packed with 30 minutes of heavy metal goodness! And apparently there’s more, but Part 3 has yet to surface. Definitely check it out!"
Steel Panther has posted two short video clips online from the band's recent live performance in Chicago, which can be viewed below. The band also commented on the videos:
"Here's some quick footage from last night's show at the Cubby Bear in Chicago: The Cubby Arrival and Departure. Steel Panther will be making their final stop at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado tonight and then it's back to rockin' Vegas and tearin' up the Sunset Strip!"
Steel Panther has issued the following announcement about offering a free MP3 download of the "Sexy Santa" single:
"Download 'Sexy Santa' for FREE! Here's a free download of Steel Panther's 'Sexy Santa' for those who have been naughty all year long! See, being naughty does pay off...And hey, at least it's better than last year's gift... Herpes. Merry XXXMAS everyone!"

This week Sebastian Bach (ex-Skid Row) was asked to leave a bar and instead of politely grabbing his top hat and heading for the door he smashed a wine glass and then bit the owner’s hand. Can someone get this ex-Celebrity Fit Club guy a sandwich? To make matters worse Canadian cops found two grams of weed on Bach. So not only was Bach hungry from dieting, but also smoking pot. In hindsight the owner is lucky Bach didn’t eat his whole hand… More...
Steel Panther has issued the following announcement about appearing on the upcoming series "Playboy's Beach House:"
