New York based act Seventh Void, which features Type O Negative members Johnny Kelly and Kenny Hickey, has posted the following update online about splitting with guitarist Matt Brown:
"Sad to report that Matt Brown has left the band. No replacement has been made yet. We'll let you know when there is one.
"Meanwhile, the rest of us are working on demos and will hopefully be recording the next Seventh Void record before the holidays. At least that's our goal! Please keep checking in for updates! As always, thanks for the support!"

SPV has issued the following announcement about inking a deal with A Pale Horse Named Death:
"SPV is pleased to announce that A Pale Horse Named Death, the new band lead by Life of Agony's Sal Abruscato have signed a worldwide recording contract with Steamhammer/SPV. Their debut album entitled 'And Hell Will Follow Me' is currently scheduled for release in June 2011.
"Sal Abruscato was born in Brooklyn, NY Started playing drums at age 10. He is the co-founder of Type O Negative with Peter Steele and performed on Slow, Deep & Hard, Origin Of The Feces, Bloody Kisses and various best of and soundtracks. Sal is the drummer for Life Of Agony and performed on River Runs Red, Ugly, River Runs Again, Broken Valley. Additional projects include Supermassiv & My Mortality. He is now the singer, songwriter and guitarist for A Pale Horse Named Death."
Sal Abruscato had the following to say about signing with SPV/Steamhammer: "I am so stoked about joining SPV, I'm Looking forward to a fruitful and successful relationship with such a reputable label as SPV"
The band's live lineup includes Sal Abruscato (Life of Agony) on guitars and vocals, drummer Johnny Kelly (Type O Negative, Seventh Void), Bobby Hambel (Biohazard) on guitar, Matt Brown (Supermassiv, Seventh Void) also on guitars, and Eric Morgan on bass.

New York hard rock act Seventh Void has posted its new music video online. The video was shot for the track "Heaven Is Gone" which is taken from the band's debut album of the same name. Seventh Void features former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey and Johnny Kelly. You can view the video below:
Napalm Records has issued the following announcement about signing a deal with Seventh Void:
"The Napalm Records crew is happy to announce that Seventh Void has joined its ranks. Glenn Danzig has announced a special nine city concert trek that will kick off in Norfolk, VA on June 15th. The dates will be performed to usher in the release of "Deth Red Sabaoth," Danzig's first new studio album in six years. The tour will also feature long-time Danzig cohort guitar Tommy Victor, drummer Johnny Kelly, and former Samhaim band mate, bassist Steve Zing. Support for the east coast dates will be Gorgeous Frankenstein, the band of original Misfits member Doyle, and Seventh Void, the band that includes of Danzig/Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly and Type O guitarist Kenny Hickey.

Black Label Society leader Zakk Wylde has revealed that Five Finger Death Punch and Seventh Void (featuring members of Type O Negative) will be touring with the band along with Mudvayne and Static-X later this year.
"It's a small world, so everybody knows everybody. I've known the guys since the OZZFest. So we're going to have a fucking blast. (It will be) Static-X, Mudvayne, a couple guys from TYPE O NEGATIVE started their own band (SEVENTH VOID) so they got that thing going on. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH. There's six bands on the fucking bill so we're going to have a good fucking time."
Italian gothic metal outfit Lacuna Coil has announced a string of headlining tour dates in the United States. A message from vocalist Cristina Scabbia reads: "My dear friends,

It isn’t often that a town like Great Falls gets a big name band playing anything even remotely close to metal, with country and contemporary being the dominant musical genres in the area. The metal fans of Montana arrived in force on May 11th at the Civic Center Mansfeld Convention building to show their support of the scene and let Static-X know that Great Falls can be just as valid a tour stop as any bigger city. Playing alongside the kings of “evil disco” were Skumlove, My Evolution, and the newly formed Seventh Void, which features two Type O Negative members.
All of the various news outlets, from the band’s MySpace pages to the record label press releases, stated that the show started at 8:00 PM. Inexplicably they decided to start up a half an hour early so unfortunately openers Skumlove only got a fraction of the crowd to play for. Despite the setback they still played their blend of rock, industrial, and punk with gusto. For those who couldn’t be there, or happened to show up as their set was ending, Skumlove has premiered the new song "Anti-American Idol" exclusively on the Metalunderground MySpace music player.
