Destruction Of A Rose Posts EP Teaser

Destruction of a Rose has posted a teaser clip online for the band's new EP, which can be found below. The band also commented:

"You've waited long enough... Destruction Of A Rose is proud to announce the addition of new vocalist Chris Foglia and his brother, DJ Foley, on bass. They are replacing Evan Foxx and Daniel Castro respectively; both of whom left the band earlier this year.

"The two brothers currently reside in the Phoenix, Az area. They have been collaborating musically and artistically their entire lives with a slew of diverse side projects under their belts. After hearing their past collaborations in bands such as Darkness Before Dawn and Revenant, the members of DOAR felt they would be a perfect fit.

"The band entered One Light Media in Las Vegas, NV early this October to record a brand new EP. The four songs contained within are some of the most aggressive, heart-wrenching songs DOAR has ever created.

"Destruction Of A Rose is currently working diligently on a release date for the new material as well as rehearsing for live performances/tour. Keep a watchful eye on their social media sites for a sneak peak of the new songs and other updates coming in the very near future." More...

Destruction Of A Rose Parts Ways With Vocalist

Former Destruction Of A Rose vocalist Evan Foxx has posted the following statement online, detailing his departure from the Las Vegas based deathcore act Destruction Of A Rose.

"It has been a great time, touring and building friendships across the country, but unfortunately there has been a 'plateau-esq' feeling for me lately in the band. There have been other opportunities that have arisen for me recently that I feel I must make a move on, and that calls for me to split from DOAR. To everyone who has helped us, supported us, watched us play, shared the stage with us, and to all my friends in the industry, I love you all. This is not the end for me, and to my bandmates you are some of my best friends and always will be."

Destruction Of A Rose Signs To Standby Records

Las Vegas based metallers Destruction of a Rose have announced that they have inked a deal with Standby Records. The band will enter Lambesis Studios with Tim Lambesis and Daniel Castleman to record their Standby Records’ debut EP, due out early summer 2009. Guitarist Gordon Lamont issued the following statement about the signing:

"We had several offers on the table, but felt like Standby was the right label for us. Looking at their roster of artists and how they treat and push their bands, it was the best choice all around. The staff at Standby is legit, and didn’t give us the feeling of being your average label guys; they really care about their bands."
