Finnish pagan metal outfit Moonsorrow and German power metal group Freedom Call have been confrmed as the latest two bands to take part in this years edition of the British metal festival, Bloodstock Open Air, which will take place at Catton Hall in Walton On Trent, Derbyshire from August 10th-12th.
Speaking on the confirmation, Moonsorrow stated: "We are truly excited to take part in Bloodstock Festival 2012. It's been way too long since we played on the British soil in 2008 and we know that lately there has been a huge demand for Moonsorrow to play in the UK. So, all our loyal fans in the UK, we want to see a massive crowd of insane berserks during our set. Don't let us down because we promise we don't let you down, cheers!"
Freedom Call added: "The Bloodstock Festival is the pulsating heart of Heavy Metal...a great audience, which knows exactly to revel."

Zonaria is the latest act to be confirmed for this year's edition of the Metalcamp festival, which is set to take place from July 11th - 16th, 2011 in Tolmin, Slovenia.

Croatian metal band Rising Dream has announced their female vocalist as Ines Tanceva.
The band comments, "Rising Dream is more than proud to present the new line up… the one that feels right! We have a new singer and SHE is a new screamer at the RD front lines - miss Ines Tanceva. With the new dimension and power Rising Dream will bring diversity to the new songs that are already in progress."
Ines adds, "It’s a great thing being a part of Rising Dream crew… some of us knew each other for some time now, but only as a part of the band I can truly say that notable actions are in order. Expect a great performance, both studio and live… and hope to see ya all soon… ‘till then!"
Croatia based metal band Rising Dream has issued the following announcement about an upcoming tour alongside Destruction:
"Right after the official beginning of the Failed Tour 2009 in Arsenal Club, Zadar (HR), we're announcing 14 new tour shows!!! Beside the already confirmed headline shows in Exit Chmelnice, Prague (CZ) on March 19th, and Made In Zadar Zagreb edition on April 17th, we proudly present a brand new cooperation with German thrash metal legends – DESTRUCTION!
"Beginning the April 23rd, Rising Dream, together with Destruction (D), Imperious Rex (USA), Methedras (IT) and Figure Of Six (IT) begins a special leg of the Destruction world tour D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N..
