Ulcerate Announces New Tour
In support of fourth LP, "Vermis," New Zealand death metal innovators Ulcerate will bring audio terror to North American fans this Spring.
Sponsored by Metal Injection, Ulcerate will inundate the American and Canadian peoples for nineteen days and nights on the "Vermis North America MMXIV" tour, which will include the band's first shows on the West Coast.
Support for Ulcerate will be provided by Relapse label mates Inter Arma on the majority of the dates, joining the tour in Philadelphia on the 9th and pushing through until May 21st, the final date of the tour before MDF.
Ulcerate comments: "After months of planning we are now in full lockdown mode with rehearsals for what is going to be one of the most intense tours we've done to date. We can't wait to bring the Vermis material to life and finally attack both East and West coasts of the continent - particularly with Inter Arma joining us for the second half of the run." More...
Inter Arma Comments On Upcoming Shows
Richmond, Virginia's tour-incessant tonal decimation crew Inter Arma recently announced the confirmation of a maiden European trek, now set to take place just after the already looming U.S. tour with Russian Circles and KEN Mode, which is less than two weeks from embarking.
Inter Arma guitarist Trey Dalton commented: "We've heard nothing but pretty incredible things about how awesome it can be touring in Europe, and needless to say we're very ready to experience that for ourselves. We're most definitely looking forward to playing at Roadburn as we're basically pals with half the bands playing, not to mention that we'll be with some of our best friends in Windhand for the majority of the tour. That being said, I think we're pretty excited about all of the shows. Most of us haven't done a lot of international traveling at all so this is a pretty righteous opportunity."
While still touring in support of the "Sky Burial" LP, the name of Inter Arma's recently recorded EP has been announced as "The Cavern," which encompasses a sprawling forty minutes of material. A final release date and further details on "The Cavern" EP will be released upon its completion. Catch Inter Arma live:

Elaborates vocalist/guitarist Chris Grigg of the trek, "Not only is this Woe's longest tour to date, it is almost entirely new ground for us. We couldn't be more appreciative for this opportunity to ruin so many beautiful cities and their charming populations. We are especially glad to be teaming up with Inter Arma, one of our favorite bands in the American metal scene."

Inter Arma Enters The Studio
After the release of sophomore LP "Sky Burial" via Relapse in March, Richmond’s Inter Arma is already back to work in the studio.
For the next ten days, the band will be bunkered down in Madison, Tennessee-based Dark Art Studios with producer Mikey Allred -- the same surroundings and setup that captured the monolithic "Sky Burial" LP.
"There’s no title yet, but it’s a forty-plus minute piece that was originally written during the summer of 2009 and only played out a few times," stated guitarist Trey Dalton on the track. "We'll have some different people doing guest appearances (noise, synth, strings, vox, and more) as well. We’re trying to make the most completely off the wall shit yet."
Further details on the recording will be released in the coming weeks upon completion. In the meantime, Inter Arma has been confirmed to perform at a pair of late Summer stateside music festivals, including a set alongside Pig Destroyer, ASG, Sleep, Kurt Vile and more at this year’s massive Hopscotch Fest in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 5th, followed by a spot on Boomslang Festival in Lexington, Kentucky the weekend of September 20th. Inter Arma has also been confirmed to storm Holland in 2014 as part of the annual Roadburn Festival. Expect further tour actions to be announced shortly.

Inter Arma Signs With Relapse Records
Relapse Records is extremely proud to announce the signing of Richmond, VA’s Inter Arma. The label comments: "The group consisting of (T.J. Childers - Drums, Steven Russell - Guitars, Trey Dalton - Guitars, Mike Paparo - Vocals, Joe Kerkes - Bass) formed in 2006 and released their debut full-length Sundown via Forcefield Records in 2010.
