"Greetings,

"Its been a while since any of the band members brought up anything about the band but this project is far from over. but Plecto Aliquem Capite is not dead!!!!

"An ep titled 'As the Sane Crumble' has been completed with yours truly on vocals,Kasun on drums and harp and Pravin on Guitars, this features two new tracks which are, Cemetery of the Deep and Disembowelment which we performed live at RockStorm 2009 in Kandy. The ep will be released online via our record lable - Zeikte-Nl in the near future.

"However the split with Yhdarl finally saw the bleak reality of day thanks to the lable and is now available for four euros at thier website. Make of that what you will...

"Stoned Guru Ramblings has also been completed, and is set to be released as a split ep with Hela Black Metallers Funeral In Heaven.

"The release of the video to Moses seems very unlikely as neither of us can spend time or exert the energy to edit it.

"On a more personal note, I would like to say that I was out of the scene just to sort shit out with my life and Im still in the process of doing that, but I never forgot to sit back and watch the drama unfold in the metal scene, heck at times I felt really privileged when I got to know that there was a lot of shit about me eventhough I wasnt directly involved with the metal scene for a while :P Thank you for including me in your little episodes and all that. (I Just couldnt resist saying that)

"Lets draw our attention to PAC again because that is the main purpose for this,There will be a lineup change in the near future, and the new line up would comprise of me on vocals and Lyrics,Kasun on Drums,Violin and the occasional strumming of the guitar and any other stringed instrument we can find in the studio.Roshan a.k.a Pitta from PLNS,Raven06 and MDR on Guitar and Sanka on Vocals and Violin

"Expect some more disturbing music from PAC, I would love to tell you what it sounds like in advance but I sincerely don`t know myself.

"Last but not least I wish to extend my heartiest wishes to Pravin whos been fucking up the minds of people with PAC since we started, he will be leaving for higher education so all the very best!

"Cheers, Buddhi."

"D.H.S.P.S. is a personal dedication to Commander Lalith Prasanna Edirisinghe, Nero and all of the 8 members of the D.S.Senanayake College Baseball team who lost their lives to a senseless suicide bomb attack by the Terrorist organization, L.T.T.E."

Funeral In Heaven Posts Two New Songs Online

Sri Lankan black metal band Funeral In Heaven has posted two new pre-production songs from their new album "Daiwaye Haaskam Saha Paralowa Sapatha" recording sessions online on their MySpace player. Here's the update from the band:

"The past couple of weeks indeed have been hectic as you all know, 4 months back we made a decision to take a step back from live performances and spend a little more time in the studio, recording our compositions onto physical form.

"For the past few weeks, we have been doing just that and we have finally completed recording two of our latest compositions at Wela Madha Studios, Pannipitiya.

"And as promised, the two tracks have been uploaded onto our Myspace player. Please not that these are NOT the final products and also the fact that these songs had to be ripped to a Bit Rate of 96, to fit Myspace's 'files under 6mb' rule.

"The two tracks; "The Origins of Evil: Abhawaya" and "The Malediction of Veracity: Udhbhawaya/Punarbhawaya" is a dedication to all who, in the name of Mother Lanka, battled in the north, and to all those who didn't make it back.

"Our heartfelt gratitude to all who aided us with the recording process and all who have stuck with us through thick and thin. You all know who you are."

The release date for "Daiwaye Haaskam Saha Paralowa Sapatha" will be announced soon.

Sixth Episode of The Flaming Skull Podcast Online

Once again India's India's first and only enhanced podcast "The Flaming Skull Podcast" releases it's 6th episode, which in fact is a special episode according to the metalheads behind this Podcast.

Malcolm Soans and Roydon Bangera commented - "We talk about ‘the global village’ everyday. But the question we ask here is do we know our neighbours? Today, we want to talk about our sub-continent- India and our neighbours. Like any nice neighbourhood we get friendly, we get hostile but that’s all in a day’s work. We are in every sense next door to every country around us and we were thinking…just thinking..May be its time we get to know our neighbours better and we should start the initiative to that.

The flaming skull podcast is a download-able radio show dedicated to the promotion of metal bands. TFS is just any other form of entertainment media, but in our path we ended up finding our cause. To be honest, TFS never started out thinking beyond spreading good Metal. But as we did that we started realizing that there is more to our sub-continent then what we thought. In the past few months, as we spoke to many metal bands from the Indian sub-continent. We realized we DESERVE a sense of oneness which can in turn support the talent we have. And we cannot be waiting for that to be bestowed upon us. We needed to find our means to achieve that, than wait for it to be given to us. This came to us gradually as through 5 episodes we slowly got to know ‘our neighbors’. Music is a language that has no boundaries, as cliché as it is to quote that we know it is true. Metal genres are no exception to that. We can and we should use it to set aside other boundaries that pull us back.

With the 6th episode of TFS coming out this Saturday we thought we should take this further. On this episode will be featured bands from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan and India. This initiative is not just to vouch for good metal, but to extend our hands out to our brothers and support them. Our medium is metal, we bond over it we respect each other through it and will grow with it to recognize our artist as one’s with an distinct identity.

Global unification, as defined by many people like us, is a very nice thing... you are talking about the Internet, you are talking about cell phones, and you are talking about computers. This doesn't affect two-thirds of the people of the world. Why? Simply because having it does not imply we are using it well. We are TRYING to work on this. We are not here for meaningless propaganda, we have a aim in mind which we wanted to share with you. So if you can do tune into the 6th episode of The flaming skull podcast at http://tfspodcast.blogspot.com/ on 26th of September. Support the metal scene, Support your sub-continent.

Destroy our countries borders for we are one, together we stand as the united metal nations"

This logo will undergo minor alteration by the band itself and shall ornate the cover of their extremely long awaited album. Expect a milestone in the scene like it has been the case of THE FIRSTBORN from Portugal...FUNERAL IN HEAVEN is set to be a UNIQUE GEM in the whole scene, giving me the opportunity to make full use of sanskrit type fnts, created by myself but strongly inspired by sacred verses and parchments found in Sri Lanka....This logo is something i consider as a MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT in my career....and check this band, set to be one of the most original alongside with THE FIRST BORN....a gem is coming soon...don't miss it!"
