Black Messiah Streaming New Track "Jötunheim"

German viking metal act Black Messiah is streaming the new track "Jötunheim." The song appears on the upcoming new release "Heimweh," the band's sixth studio effort. The album drops on November 29th via AFM Records. The album marks the first studio release for new guitarist Ymir, who joined the band in 2012 after the departure of Meldric.

Wacken Open Air 2013 Live Stream Details Revealed

The 2013 installment of the Wacken Open Air Festival kicks off today, but you don't have to be there to catch some of the action over the course of the weekend. Select bands from the festival will be shown via live stream at this location. There is no guarantee that the broadcast will be available in every country.

According to the schedule, highlights of the Wacken Metal Battle with Annihilator will be shown today at 18:30 (CET), 12:30pm (EST), 9:30am (PST). In addition, for Friday and Saturday, bands broadcast will be:

Black Messiah Posts Trailer For New Music Video

German symphonic black/viking metal band Black Messiah posted a trailer for the upcoming music video for the new track "Windloni," which will appear on the band's forthcoming LP "The Final Journey." The album is the follow up to the band's 2009 release "First War Of The World" and is due out on February 24, 2012 through AFM Records.

AFM 15th Anniversary Festival Packs All-Star Card

AFM Records is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year. In addition to a three CD compilation, the label has also put together an all-star lineup for a festival in Hamburg, Germany on November 26, 2011. The lineup for the show includes headliners U.D.O. along with Voodoo Circle, Orden Ogan, Kissin' Dynamite, Dark Age, The New Black, Lake Of Tears, A Life (Divided), Mob Rules, Byfrost, XStahlmann, Buried In Black, Black Messiah and Crystal Viper with a special act to be announced.

The special 15th Anniversary 3CD compilation will be released on October 28, 2011, but festival attendee's will receive the package free with a ticket purchase.

Black Messiah Issues Band Update

Germany's Black Messiah has checked in with the following update about the band's upcoming activity:

"We just wanted to let you know what happens next in the Black Messiah camp: after we had a great time playing at the Fimbul Festival 2010 in Fürth at the weekend various work waits for us....

"As you might know the tour is right ahead, the dates and locations are set and we hope it will be a lot of fun as it was last time. As we have many requests from other continents about playing there we have to say that we want to play wherever it is possible but unfortunately we're not able to do that right now. Be sure we will if we get the opportunity. Also various plans about visualization of some parts around Black Messiah are running, things like backstage footage, music video and many more are in different states of being realized, be sure we're working as hard as we can on that! Black Messiah Announces European Tour

Germany's Black Messiah has issued the following update about embarking on a European tour this coming October:

"News again folks, the tour will happen! We will start on October 8th to October 23rd 2010. Additional bands will be No Man's Land, Adorned Brood, Negura Bunget, Dyrathor and Heathen Foray. More explicit details will follow! Horns fuckin' up!"

Black Messiah Announces Album Release Date

AFM records has issued the following announcement about an upcoming album from German pagan metal band Black Messiah:

"On March, 20, 2009, Black Messiah will release their second album on AFM Records. After their successful AFM debut "Of Myths And Legends," the band just finished the work on the new album "First War Of The World" which will include 13 Songs of high-class Pagan Metal.

"The release party of the new Black Messiah album will take place at the “Turock” Club in Essen (Germany). At this evening, Black Messiah will rock the stage with Heidevolk (NL) und Helfahrt (D)."
