The clip was recorded by Valter Reis and Gildasio Chagas from DV Produções, edited and produced by Alex Milesi, who was responsible for the previous two videos “Trace Of Trait” and “Late Night in ’85".

Vocalist Edu Falaschi announced that he has departed Brazilian power/progressive metal band Angra. He also announced that Felipe Andreoli is no longer with his band Almah. Falashi posted the following note on his official website:

"Dear friends, fans and partners,

"There comes a moment in a man’s life when it is necessary to make a radical decision in order to move forward with dignity and renewed energy.

"I’m in a very happy moment, where now, at age 40, I’m fulfilled and incredibly satisfied to have succeeded in making almost all my personal and professional dreams come true.

"I have a beautiful family, many wonderful friends and fans who have followed me for over 20 years and a lasting career with more than 15 albums released, several world tours and thousands of copies sold worldwide.

"I am a lucky person to have made ?it this far, singing Heavy Metal and been around the planet playing the music I love the most.

"I've been thinking for some time now, about the path to follow and finally came to the conclusion that it is time to take the more natural road.

"It is with a mixture of relief, joy and sadness that I have to declare that from today on I am not the voice of ANGRA anymore, I'm leaving the band already missing a lot of what we built together, specially the happy times of Rebirth and Temple of Shadows. I will never forget everything that we experienced from good to bad times, after all we must always look at the good side of things, even when things are most difficult.

"I am eternally grateful for those 10 years of many victories and for all the opportunities given to me, I wish them luck on their journeys.

"Whenever they want or need I will be around and ready to support them! I am and will always be very proud of our history! My life is music and music is the food to my soul. I have many plans and projects for the future! Some of them are already well established, strong and generating excellent results and so, they demand and deserve my full dedication, and of all the people involved in it. That's why I also want to announce that Felipe Andreoli is not the Almah's bass-player anymore! He will keep working only with Angra and his other projects!

"I will go on with my ideals and my career as a singer, songwriter and producer. Thank you all, with love...

Edu Falaschi"

Almah Announces Departure Of Guitarist

Brazilian metallers Almah have issued the following statement about the departure of guitarist Paulo Schroeber due to health problems:

"Dear Almah friends and fans! I think many of you already know about health problems that our brother, partner and member of the band, Paulo Schroeber, has recently faced. Due to these problems we had to call another guitarist to replace him at the latest Almah shows during Motion tour, but we always hoped that Paulo would be with us again very soon.

"Unfortunately, a very serious heart problem made it impossible for our friend to continue his work for a long term, and we received his message that he had to leave the band! All of us became extremely sad but at the same moment we respect his decision to stay with his family at such a delicate moment.

"For us, there remains only one thing: to keep public our eternal support, love and, most of all, gratitude for all the great moments we had together! We are very happy to know that his treatment is going on and the prognosis is positive. The band is here with all its energy and now it's even stronger because we do what we love and 'cos we respect all the dedication of our friend Paulo over these years of hard work and fun. More...

Almah Comments On Upcoming Album

Almah recently returned from hiatus and has now finished the recording, mixing, and mastering of its brand new album "Motion," which will see the light of day via AFM records this fall (the scheduled release date is to be announced very soon).

Guitarist Marcelo Barbosa commented on Almah, the new album, and the band's recent shows:

"Actually, I play in a few bands, and every one is special in its own way. Besides the fact that Almah is the most famous one among them and it has an opportunity to travel more playing live, the band is about to release a new album! It's always a challenge and as usual it's a very special feeling of this cold in the stomach when you have no idea what comes next. I'm very happy that the band is back on stage and I'm looking forward to the moment when everyone will hear the work that we've recorded. All of us are really excited with the final result.

"At the end of July we played the first live shows after a big break. We spent more than a year without playing live on stage but even the first rehearsal showed good sound and great team work. It's interesting, especially taking into account all the conditions.... Moreover, some song parts sounded even more natural and it was easier to play them. Of course, we have very good musicians in the band, but the songs, especially from Fragile Equality album, have very high technical level. And I believe, no one expected that it would be so easy to come back to live activities! I'm convinced that with more time and more rehersals for the upcoming Motion Tour Almah will sound so great on stage as never before! More...

Almah Comments On Returning From Hiatus

Last week Almah played a short "warm-up" tour around the Northeast of Brazil, including two headlining shows at the 13th ForCaos (Fortaleza) and Armazem do Som (Juazeiro do Norte) festivals, and series of supporting events such as singing sessions and workshops. Almah came back to live activities after a one-year break, and Felipe Andreoli (bass) had this to say:

"It was very pleasant to hit the stage with Almah again after one year. Not only because I love the music, but also because we always have a good time together, as friends. It's a very special and privileged relationship. We had a couple of rehearsals just to take the rust off our hands - and throats, for that matter, but it was surprisingly easy to put everything together as far as performance and sound. It honestly didn't seem like we hadn't played together one year ago. It felt more like a little while. What's funny is that we seem to play better together every time, even when we don't play for months!"

The new Almah CD "Motion" will see the light of day via AFM Records this fall, with the release date to be announced soon.

Almah has confirmed the title of its upcoming third album, the follow-up to the previous success "Fragile Equality," as "Motion." The cover artwork is available below.

Vocalist Edu Falaschi commented on the artwork, "The cover has been created by myself with my own iPhone. I took a picture in Paris and used some applications to create that motion effect. Then Felipe used my picture and re-created this artwork in high resolution using Photoshop and completed it with new elements. This time we wanted something modern and direct to represent our music and we are totally sure that we got the result we really wanted since the very beginning. This CD will show the real Almah's language and personality! Stay tuned for further news!"

Almah Guitarist To Perform With Angra

Almah, which recently announced an upcoming performance at the ForCaos Festival, has checked in with the following update about guitarist Marcelo Barbosa performing with Angra:

"Marcelo Barbosa will play three shows with Angra in Brazil (Suzano, Angra dos Reis and Brasília/Porão do Rock Festival) replacing the guitarist Kiko Lourero who will skip these live dates due to family reasons.

"Marcelo Barbosa is a well recognized guitar master and teacher in Brazil. Besides his career as the founder, owner and professor of GTR Guitar Institute, he became famous as a metal musician thanks to his work in such bands as Almah and Khallice. In 2007 Barbosa joined Almah.

"The 2nd Almah album recorded in the present line-up became one of the best metal releases of the year worldwide. Right now the band is preparing the 3rd studio effort. As we previously reported, at the end of May Barbosa finished the guitar parts for the new long-awaited CD of Almah. Edu Falaschi mentioned in the recent interviews, that it will be the best guitar work he has ever had on his albums.

"Thus, no wonder, that one of the leading metal bands in Brazil, Angra, invited Barbosa to replace its permanent guitarist to make these shows. The fans can really expect a great and exciting performance of Angra with Marcelo Barbosa. The first one will take place in Suzano, São Paulo state, on 11th of June."
