UK progressive metal band Fellsilent has decided to disband.
The band comments on the reasoning and on their upcoming projects, "It is with heavy hearts but clear minds that we announce that this is the end of FELLSILENT. There's no big dramatic story to tell, but after 7 years of putting everything we had into this band, we've simply all moved on and are taking our musical creativity into new and exciting projects:"
UK metallers Fellsilent have issued the following update about seeking a new guitar player:
"As some of you may have heard,
"Acle will unfortunately be leaving Fell Silent to concentrate on his solo project TesseracT, splitting the heavy work load of the two bands simply wasn't working out, it was a mutual decision and of course means both bands can concentrate souly on their seperate directions! Even though we remain close friends we will miss him. Good luck mush!
"It's definitely not the end for Fell Silent, you can look forward to the release of our new video coming soon, as well as some cheeky releases from our 2nd studio album thats currently under work!
"Here is an application for a new guitarist, if you think you've got what it takes, get in contact and have a chat.
"Thank you for your continued support."
Fellsilent has issued the following statement about dropping off the Crush Em' All Tour:
"UK Based, Sumerian Records artist, FellSilent have been denied access to the U.S. to take part in the Crush Em' All Tour which starts tonight and features Veil Of Maya,
After The Burial and Abacabb.
"Due to reasons beyond our control FellSilent will no longer be able to take part in the Crush Em’All Tour 2009. Apologies to anyone who has been waiting patiently to come see us, we love and appreciate your support. As you can imagine it takes a huge amount of effort to organize a tour of this size and the work load and costs are huge, we’re extremely pissed off that we had this tour pulled from us as we all made huge sacrifices to make this trip, it’s a huge blow for the band as its left some of us homeless and alot of us completely moneyless.
"However our album release in the states will be going ahead as planned this March! And there’s still light at the end of the tunnel for an American tour at some point later this year.
"Once we managed to get ourselves back on our feet, we’ll be making our way over to Europe to tour later this year, so keep your eye out for dates! Thanks again for your continued support."
