Below is our complete Earth Crisis news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.

Reunited straight edge hardcore band Earth Crisis is currently streaming a new song on their MySpace page. The band issued the following statement about the track:
"So a new song is FINALLY up, To Ashes! In case you aren't aware the new record is called To The Death, and will be released in Europe on 4/20/09 and in North America on 5/5/2009. Also we have a new page design, a few new youtube videos, and some banners. Thanks to FXV Digital for the myspace layout!
"Here's some updates on what's been going on lately. We shot a video for To Ashes with David Brodsky. It's in the editing stages right now and hopefully we'll have something to show everyone soon. Paul Romano is working diligently on the layout for our new record and you can see some of the images in the new myspace design. We've been doing a bunch of interviews. Terrorizer has 2 features on us this month and keep an eye out for a feature in Decibel. That's it for now, we hope you like the new tune. Leave some comments, show us some love!"
Syracuse, New York band Freya, featuring Karl Buechner of Earth Crisis, has announced the addition of three new members to their band. Joining the group is Brendon Flynn (War Of Attrition) on guitar, John Sullivan (War Of Attrition) on guitar, and Graham Mitchell (ex-The Red Death) on drums.
Meanwhile, the group has debuted a new pre-production track, which can be heard here.
The reformation of straightedge hardcore band EARTH CRISIS, which was followed by a massive North American tour as well as a number of European shows, has now culminated in the signing of a record deal with Century Media Records.
EARTH CRISIS has crafted their most angst ridden and unrelenting offering of their career and this effort is going to serve as a much needed wake up call to the masses. The group will self produce the album and are set to begin tracking next month. The acclaimed Tue Madsen (Sick Of It All, Dark Tranquillity, The Haunted) will handle mixing and mastering duties.
Scott Crouse (guitar) further comments:
"We are very excited to begin tracking our new record and even more excited that it will be released by Century Media. We have been working hard over the last year preparing new material and are scheduled to enter the studio in October. We will be producing this one ourselves and are extremely excited to have Tue Madsen mixing! The new songs are brutal and Century Media is the perfect label to handle them."
Last night Firestorm Fest (American Hardcore Lives) rolled into Chicago. My sons, along with one of their friends, accompanied me into the city to see the show.
And what a show it was. I think my ears have stopped bleeding and I think my hearing is beginning to return. We all agreed that it was one of the best shows we've seen in some time.
MTV.com's "Metal File" recently spoke with EARTH CRISIS frontman Karl Buechner on the band's upcoming reunion tour with SWORN ENEMY, SHAI HULUD, TERROR, DOWN TO NOTHING and RECON, and he said the straightedge metalcore outfit will be recording new material. "We do plan on putting out a record," he confirmed. "We've got six songs so far, and hopefully, we'll record them this year. Hopefully, we'll be playing some of these news songs we've written [on the upcoming tour]." So how does the new stuff sound? "The best way to describe it is it's a mixture between [1995's] 'Destroying the Machines' and [1998's] 'Breed the Killers'," he said. "Stylistically, it's most like songs from those albums."
The new EARTH CRISIS effort will be in stores early next year, he added. More...

From Autumn To Ashes’ entire performance in-store will be recorded live. To gain admittance, fans must pre-order the recording for $7.99 either by clicking here or signing up at the door on entry.

Freya, consisting largely of ex-Earth Crisis members, has issued an update:
It's been a busy time for Freya. Dennis Merrick, formerly of EXC, has joined us and played his first show in Ogdensburg NY. The band sounds stronger than ever. We had a great response and are looking forward to playing there again next year. We had some awesome shows with If Hope Dies, Enough is Enough, Yesterday Tomorrow, and Number 2. Look for some show dates with freya and If Hope Dies this winter/spring.
Karl just got back froma tour with A Perfect Murder where he filled in on vocals. They toured throughout Quebec and Ontario with Tears From the Sky. Karl had a great time with APM and is thankful for all the kind words from the fans he met up there. While in Canada he met with Mercedes from Kittie. Her company, Poison Black, Now sponsors Freya as well as Motive Clothing Company and Eblood from Europe.
Straight edge legends Damnation will be recording in the next couple of months, and Karl will be doing some guest vocals with Mike DC.
