German goth metal act Xandria have announced the addition of Manuela Kraller as its new, permanent vocalist. Manuela Kraller commented on joining Xandria by saying:
"My musical life started very late, at the age of 23. In a choir in Finland I discovered singing for me and since then it became my passion. I began to take classical singing lessons, sang in church and gospel choirs and soon I was asked to be a solo singer in choirs, at churchly and also at private occasions. But as I have grown up with metal and rock music I soon wanted to combine it with my classical background. So I started singing rock and metal songs with a friend and also wrote own songs for the first time. Soon after that I joined a metal band called Nagor Mar (Switzerland) and I also became a singer in the German band Haggard, where I had great experiences on stage and on tour. And now a 'new age' has begun for me and I am very pleased to be the new singer of Xandria!"

Many of you already know Lisa as former front woman of the legendary German band Xandria. so you'll easily understand how thrilled we are at the idea of sharing the stage with such a great lady. "We have good and bad news for you. First the bad ones: It now appears that Kerstin Bischof unfortunately can´t be the permanent new singer of Xandria. Due to occupational and private reasons she wants to concentrate on her non-musical career in the future and cannot support Xandria the way it would be necessary. We wish her all the best for the future!
"So here and now we are searching for a new singer again, details for applications follow in a few days on our official homepage. We know that you are waiting for a new album, and we are very sorry for keeping you waiting even longer for the new songs, with which we actually wanted to enter the recording studio now. The good news is that we will play the coming concerts nevertheless, cause our old singer Lisa Middelhauve has agreed to step in for them. But she will not enter the band again, so this will be an unexpected last opportunity for many fans to experience her on stage with Xandria once more!"
