Everyday at the Sounds of the Underground Tour, all the bands playing will be hanging at their merch tents are various times looking to meet you. The times have been posted here. They change through the tour so check the date you're headed too and see what time the bands will be around.
The countdown is on. Three weeks from now the North American Continent will be hit with a five week musical storm - The Sounds Of The Underground Tour launching June 25th in Lowell, Mass.!
Lead singer D. Randall Blythe proclaims: "Lamb Of God are very pleased to be included as the headliner for the Sounds Of The Underground tour. The tour has a very diverse line up, including many of our old friends, and showcases established acts as well as many excellent up and coming bands to watch for. Marilyn Manson, The Prodigy, Slayer and System of a Down are some of the music bands to perform in the festival Festimad 2005, to be held in Cantueña de Fuenlabrada (Madrid) on May 27 and 28. This edition will host the "heaviest" concerts it has ever sheltered.
The organisers expect this year near 60,000 people will attend the event, 20,000 more than in 2004. Furthermore, there will be many novelties in this edition, from a completely new headquarters to running-water WC's and hot-water showers.
Another of the novelties is that instead of a main stage and another smaller, both of them will have the same size one by the other. This nearness will allow a greater comfort for the audience to move from one stage to the other.
According to the organisers, the camping site will be much bigger and "closer from concerts, with a supermarket and food street stalls."
The Friday 27 programme will host Marilyn Manson's new show, as well as the bands Nightwish, The Hives, Wednesday 13 and Muletrain. The heavy metal Californian band Slayer will also perform on that day at the other stage, together with Turbonegro, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Skizoo and Legen Beltza.
The Prodigy will play on the first stage on Saturday 28 with Incubus, Hermano, Mondo Generator and The Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster. System of a Down, one of the most creative bands on the North-American hard rock scene will share the stage on Saturday with Fu Manchu, Clutch, Five Horse Johnson and Hamlet.
I didn't think this was a secret or anything, but LAMB OF GOD has been confirmed as the headliner for 2005 SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND TOUR!

Clutch have logged enough highway miles for 10 bands, but surprisingly they've never done a festival tour — not one. That'll change this summer when the Maryland hardcore veterans headline the Sounds of the Underground Tour.
"To be honest, [festivals] always struck us as enormous wastes of time and money and didn't look like a whole lot of fun," said Neil Fallon, Clutch's roaring, pint-sized foreman. "[Sounds of the Underground] looks to be something fresh and new. It's not going to be us playing at some ungodly hour in the afternoon, and the people who'll actually go there are hungry for something like this, which works out to everyone's benefit."
Clutch are currently mixing their new disc, Robot Hive/Exodus, for release on June 21. Fallon promises a couple of straight blues tunes plus songs with "very efficient and very traditional arrangements." The band's also working on a DVD that started out as a behind-the-scenes look at the recording of Robot but has been expanded to include "life on the road" footage.
Dates are slowly leaking out for the Sounds of the Undergroud Tour that will feature Lamb of God, Clutch, Poison The Well, Opeth, Unearth, From Autumn To Ashes, Chimaira, Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, Strapping Young Lad, Throwdown, High On Fire, DevilDriver, All That Remains, A Life Once Lost and more.
Here are some of the unconfirmed initial dates for the tour:
June 25 Lowell, MA - Paul E. Tsongas Arena
June 30 Winston-Salem, NC - Dixie Classic Fairgrounds
July 01 Toronto, ON - The Docks
July 02 Sayreville, NJ - Starland Ballroom
July 05 Cleveland, OH - The Scene Pavilion
July 09 Sauget, IL - Pop's Lot
July 13 Orlando, FL - Tinker Field

The current Sounds of the Underground lineup is:
Poison the Well

High on Fire
Strapping Young Lad
All that Remains
A Life Once Lost
The Red Chord
Fear Before the March of Flames
With very special guests GWAR and one more headliner to be announced
A cadre of hard rock acts led by Opeth, Unearth, Poison The Well and Clutch are uniting for the inaugural Sounds of the Underground summer festival tour. The bill will hit the road in North America in late June and run through late July.
With organizers promising the addition of a notable headlining act, others already confirmed for the full tour are From Autumn To Ashes, Chimaira, Norma Jean, Every Time I Die, Strapping Young Lad, Throwdown, High On Fire, DevilDriver, All That Remains, A Life Once Lost and veteran horrorcore group Gwar, which will present a "halftime show."
Madball has been drafted for the eastern half of the tour, with Terror picking up on Western dates. Regional additions include the Red Chord (East Coast), Fear Before The March Of Flames (Midwest, Southeast) and Himsa (West).
"This tour will show the masses that real music is alive and well," Unearth's Trevor Phipps says. "The Sounds of the Underground will prove that you don't need 'pop-culture' to embrace your sound and way of life."
The tour is being produced by Face the Music Touring agent Tim Borror, Ferret label executive/artist manager Paul Conroy, Ferret label owner Carl Severson and artist manager Larry Mazer. The group has pledged to keep ticket prices below $30.
Dates for the trek have not yet been announced. The Sounds of the Underground Tour website will launch soon with full details.
The "Sounds of the Underground Tour" will rival Ozzfest and tickets will range from $20- $25. Bands include:
Lamb of God(main stage headliner)
Gwar (second stage headliner)
All That Remains
Poison the Well
Strapping Young Lad
A Life Once Lost
Every Time I Die
Terror / Madball (half of the tour each)
A man who dived off the stage at a CLUTCH concert, injuring two women in the crowd, was found guilty of reduced charges Wednesday (Feb. 9) and put on probation for one year.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Nancy Fuerst convicted Joseph Seink, 34, of suburban Solon, on two misdemeanor counts of reckless assault. Seink, who agreed to a non-jury trial, could have faced eight years in prison if convicted on two counts of felonious assault.
Seink's attorney, Walter Camino, said he didn't think an appeal would be filed. "We're satisfied with the verdict," he said.
Authorities say two 28-year-old Cleveland women each suffered a cracked neck vertebra but no serious spinal damage when the 195-pound Seink landed on them last June 4 at the Scene Pavilion.
Seink said he sneaked backstage to see the band CLUTCH and celebrated by jumping into the crowd when his favorite song began.
Witnesses testified that heavy metal shows are characterized by violent slam dancing with fans occasionally diving off the stage, expecting the crowd to catch them.
The injured women, Catherine Tressa and Tammie Myers, both have said they didn't expect someone would jump off the stage during the concert.
The Associated Press is reporting that a man charged with injuring two women when he dived off the stage at a heavy metal concert said he never realized someone in the crowd could be hurt.
Joseph Seink wept Monday (Feb. 7) while testifying in his trial on two counts of felonious assault. Authorities say two 28-year-old Cleveland women each suffered a cracked neck vertebra but no serious spinal damage when the 195-pound Seink landed on them last June 4 at Scene Pavilion downtown.
