Wolfchant Posts "Embraced By Fire" Preview Clip

German pagan metal warriors Wolfchant have posted a preview clip for the band's upcoming fifth studio LP entitled "Embraced By Fire," the first release for NoiseArt Records. The album is set for release on March 1, 2013. The release will include the band's legendary 2005 debut album "Bloody Tales Of Disgraced Lands" as a bonus CD.

Wolfchant Inks Deal With NoiseArt, Details New LP

German pagan metal warriors Wolfchant have signed a deal with NoiseArt Records and will release the fifth studio LP entitled "Embrace By Fire" in March of 2013, which is the follow up to the 2011 Massacre Records release "Call of the Black Winds." The album's artwork is shown below.

Wolfchant has established itself in the national and international Viking/Pagan Metal scene within the last years and has acquired a big fan base due to their energetic live shows and killer performances.

The band commented on the signing and new LP:

"We are very delighted and are looking forward to the cooperation with Noiseart Records / Rock The Nation. We are very proud to have the possibility to release our new album together with such a reliable and professional partner."

NoiseArt Records also commented on the signing:

Wolfchant Appears On Adult Swim

Wolfchant, which has been working on recording a new album, has issued the following announcement about appearing on Adult Swim's "Aqua Something You Know Whatever" show:

"After great bands such as Queensryche, Neil Peart of Rush, Zakk Wylde, Glenn Danzig, Ted Nugent and Mastodon, now Wolfchant has made a song for 'Aqua Something You Know Whatever,' a cartoon on TV Channel Adult Swim / Cartoon Network (Family Guy, American Dad).

"Three members of the band appear in the episode called 'Totem Pole' as the band Totem Pole performing the song 'Polegasm.' Further, they also made the voice over lines for Totem Pole.

"It is a crazy, weird and very funny TV Show and the band enjoyed the collaboration with the producers very much. The episode was already on air last Sunday and you can find some snippets right here."

Wolfchant Recording New Album

Wolfchant, which had to cancel its appearance at the Kilkim Zaibu Festival last month due to health issues, has now issued the following announcement about recording new material:

"Songwriting and recording in progress! We started writing songs for our upcoming album some time ago. Also we now started to rerecord our first studio album Bloody Tales From Disgraced Lands. Be prepared for new Wolfchant stuff soon! Finally our new website is also available. Enjoy!"

Wolfchant Cancels Festival Appearance

Wolfchant has issued the following announcement about canceling the band's previously scheduled appearance at the Kilkim Zaibu Festival:

"Dear friends and fans of Wolfchant,

"Unfortunately we have bad news for you! Because of health problems (accident of our drummer Norgahd and Lead Guitarist Skaahl) we have to cancel the Kilkim Zaibu Festival in Lithuania.

"We are very sorry about this situation and hope that you can understand our decision. We hope that we can make up the gig at a later time and wish you all the best. Best Regards."

Massacre Records has announced that German act Wolfchant will be entering Markus Stock's Studio E to record a new full-length album. Additional details on the album's title, track listing, and release date will be announced as they are made available.

Wolfchant Parts Ways With Bassist

Germany's Wolfchant has checked in with the following brief announcement about parting ways with bassist Bahznar:

"For internal reasons we decided to part with Bahznar. We thank him for the last years and wish him all the best for his future. Sarolv of Nothgard will take over the bass guitar temporarily."

Wolfchant Parts With Guitarist

Germany's Wolfchant has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Derrmorh and update about working on a new album:

"After 5 years, Derrmorh leaves the band for the time being. He’s heading straight to the USA to spend one semester there for his studies. We say thank you for the great time we had together and we wish him all the best as well as success for his future. As a consequence, we would like to introduce Ragnar as our new guitarist who will play his first gigs with us already in August.

"Furthermore, we are working very hard on our new album which is going to be called 'Call of the Black Winds.' We will enter Markus Stock’s Klangschmiede E (Empyrium, The Vision Bleak, Eisregen, Eluveitie, etc.) in November to record our new songs."
