King of Asgard has issued the following update about appearing at the upcoming Black Troll Festival: "King of Asgard enter German soil this coming Saturday! Wolfchant has checked in with the following update about recruiting a new vocalist and revealing the artwork for the "Call of the Black Winds" album:
"Michael 'Nortwin' Seifert (Rebellion) will join Wolfchant as a full member for the clean vocals. He already rocked the stage with us for some shows. We are glad to unleash 'Call Of The Black Winds' together. Here you can take a look at the cover art. Pagan hails."
Germany's Wolfchant has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with guitarist Derrmorh and update about working on a new album:
"After 5 years, Derrmorh leaves the band for the time being. He’s heading straight to the USA to spend one semester there for his studies. We say thank you for the great time we had together and we wish him all the best as well as success for his future. As a consequence, we would like to introduce Ragnar as our new guitarist who will play his first gigs with us already in August.
"Furthermore, we are working very hard on our new album which is going to be called 'Call of the Black Winds.' We will enter Markus Stock’s Klangschmiede E (Empyrium, The Vision Bleak, Eisregen, Eluveitie, etc.) in November to record our new songs."

German death metallers Commander have announced they will perform at the Together As One Festival on December 19th. The details of the show are as follows:

German pagan metal band Wolfchant has issued the following statement about their upcoming album:
"It's done! The recordings for "Determined Damnation" are finished. During the next days, Uwe Lulis will work on the choirs and mix and master the album. We can tell you that our expectations are surpassed! The sound of our upcoming album will blow you down.
"We would like to thank Uwe for his hospitality and his excellent work. Unfortunately we have to announce that Chrigel didn't manage it to take part concerning time reasons, but we shift that to the next album and hope that it will work then."

German heavy metallers Wolfchant has announced that they will release their new studio album, "Determined Damnation" on April 24th via Massacre Records. A message from the band reads as follows: "Since our last update many things happened! Drums and keys are recorded and currently Skaahl, Derrmorh and Bahznar are in studio to record the guitars and bass.
"We are more than satisfied with the current state and the cooperation with Uwe. The artwork is in a finale stadium and we think it is one of the best artworks Kris has done yet.
"Also we weren't lazy concerning live gigs. We are proud to announce our first tour named Determined Damnation which will bring us to Ireland and the UK for the first time. Thanks to the WAYLANDER clan and especially Ciaran who made this happen." More...
Pagan metal quintet Wolfchant have just announced a new deal with Massacre Records, an independent label in Abstatt, Germany devoted to metal.
"With bands such as Legion Of The Damned, Crematory, Illdisposed, One Man Army & TUQ,... as label mates we are in very good company" the band said in an official statement on their website.
Siebenburgen, Bleed the Sky, Steel Attack and Malevolent Creation are also part of the Massacre Records family.
Wolfchant's Massacre debut and third full-length album "Determined Damnation" is set for release on April 29. Their previous records were released through CCP Records.
