Two days after releasing the album's first video for "Je Suis Fini," the band is teasing fans with the debut of a fourth track from the anticipated album, "A Simple Thought That Changed Everything." Listen to the song in the player below or at the Solid State Records website here.
"'A Simple Thought...' is a pretty different song for us as it is all singing," says drummer Phil Chamberlain. "We wanted to try something different and we wanted to share this song to show a different aspect of the record that we haven't previewed yet."
"It was very exciting to record," says vocalist Gage Speas of the new track. "I was really nervous because I had never just sang in a song. So it was something very new to me. North Carolina hard rock outfit To Speak of Wolves continue to charge towards the May 22nd release of sophomore album, "Find Your Worth, Come Home." Last week the band premiered the album's blistering leadoff track through Revolver, and this week the band is excited to take fans deeper into the album with the debut of the first half of a two-part story that begins with the video for standout track "Je Suis Fini."
Check out the video clip below. The following press release was also issued:
"Overtop a soundtrack of darkly melodic rock set off by the frenetic vocals of new frontman Gage Speas, the video for 'Je Suis Fini' is a modern take on Plato's Allegory of the Cave, in which a patient realizes that what she perceives as reality is far from the truth, and that she must escape her surroundings at any and all costs."
"We chose to shoot a video for 'Je Suis Fini' because we feel it's a track that represents the album really well," explains drummer Phil Chamberlain. "We wanted to give people an honest preview of the record and how it sounds. Plus, it has a lot of energy and we really dig the chorus a lot. Due to scheduling, we ended up having to shoot two videos in one day. On top of that, we were all wearing winter clothes while shooting on a hot day, so we were drenched in sweat trying to get this done!" More...

To Speak Of Wolves has premiered another new song online from new album "Find Your Worth, Come Home." Check out the album's lead off track, "Hivemind," streaming now exclusively via Revolver Magazine.
"'Hivemind' was the last song we wrote for the record," explains drummer Phil Chamberlain. "In fact, we actually wrote it in the studio after we were done arranging the rest of the songs on the album. We wanted a song that was fast and a little chaotic, but also short and sweet to open the record, and that became 'Hivemind.' Lyrically, the song is about coming from a broken home and wanting to make everything better, but you can't."

"'Je Suis Fini' is the first song we wrote for the new album," explains drummer and founder Phil Chamberlain. "We feel like it's fairly different from the first single, 'Stand Alone Complex,' in that it's a little more melodic. In the coming weeks, we'll be releasing a video as well as playing it on the next tour, so we wanted to get the song out there so our fans could know it and sing along!"

Check out the song at the band's Facebook profile. The following press release was also issued:
"Careening off the rails with frantic snare blasts and caterwauling riffage, 'Stand Alone Complex' is not only the first track released from the forthcoming Find Your Worth, Come Home – available online and in stores everywhere May 22 via Solid State Records – but it also serves as the first sample of the unhinged vocals of new To Speak of Wolves frontman Gage Speas, the spark plug driving this band into wild new territories with an album they never dreamed they could make."
"Musically, we feel this song is a great first look into the new record," says drummer and founding member Phil Chamberlain. "It's a fast and intense song, a good mix stylistically from the new album as a whole. "The band's first album with dynamic new frontman Gage Speas, 'Find Your Worth, Come Home' sees the revitalized lineup reaching into darker, heavier and faster territory. It’s an album of rediscovery, and an album that freshly stamps what To Speak of Wolves is about, from the title on down."
“The title is about we've been doing - finding ourselves as a band, proving what are and doing what we do best,” explains drummer and founding member Phil Chamberlain. “This record is something that we're incredibly proud of. We've gotten a lot of compliments about how intense we are live and I don't think that came across on the first album. This time around we went into the recording process wanting to make sure to capture that intensity, and I think we did that." More...
