Brooklyn, NY atmospheric doomsters A STORM OF LIGHT are proud to announce additional US tour dates, including seven west coast shows with SHRINEBUILDER. The tour will commence on February 18th at Kung Fu Necktie in Philadelphia and make it's way across the country before coming to a close in their hometown on March 18 at Union Pool.
Commented vocalist/guitarist Josh Graham of the upcoming trek, "We are really looking forward to this US tour; FINALLY getting out and playing some more of the west coast. While A STORM OF LIGHT and SHRINEBUILDER have each played one west coast show to date, the bulk of these shows will be both bands' first time in many of these cities. It is an honor to share this maiden west coast voyage with these guys, all of whom have been in some of the most groundbreaking bands around. Along the way we are playing shows with many great bands including Harvestman, US Christmas, Via Vengeance, Rumanian Buck, Batillus, Indian, Battlefields and more." More...
Brooklyn metallers A Storm Of Light have issued the following update about seeking a new drummer:
"What: In just over two years since the band's inception, A Storm of Light has had the honor and privilege of playing with many great drummers: Vinny Signorelli, Jason Roeder, Pete Angevine, Andy Rice, and our current man, Geoff Summers. While this band is built around revolving members both in touring and recording, we have decided that a central three-piece will make us sonically/rhythmically stronger. That said, we have decided to look for a permanent drummer, one that will make Storm their primary focus, and be part of the band for the long haul.
"When: Geoff will be playing with us through the Feb/March US tour dates, before returning to his full time duties with his band, Batillus. We'd like to fill the spot, if possible, by mid February, and then begin working together in late March. We leave for a European tour May 5, and will most likely record the third full-length in late summer/early fall. More...
