Initially offered as a special web-only release, this brutal slab of old-school death is now available worldwide. A promo video for the track "Love Lies Bleeding" has been posted below. Corpus Mortale features bassist/vocalist Martin Rosendahl's trademark bellow (last heard on The Cleansing's 2009 release "Poisoned Legacy").
Danish death metallers Corpus Mortale have signed to Deepsend Records. Deepsend will release the Danes’ third album “FleshCraft” this Fall, with pre-orders available right here. “FleshCraft” is the follow-up to Corpus Mortale’s 2007 sophomore album, “A New Species of Deviant” and first for Deepsend Records. The label comments:
"Corpus Mortale joins Dawn of Demise, Spectral Mortuary, Deus Otiosus, and The Cleansing as our dominance with Danish death metal continues! 'FleshCraft' will come to be known as a defining statement of Danish death metal. The year's best death metal album is also amongst the best from Denmark ever.
"The perfect death metal recording, Martin Rosendahl's trademark bellow (last heard on The Cleansing 'Poisoned Legacy') and their musicianship that's second to none. Your expectations should be high and will be mightily fulfilled. 'FleshCraft' is an excellently composed monster, exemplifying everything that Danish death metal has been known for and finally accomplished by Corpus Mortale." More...
Denmark's Corpus Mortale has issued the following update about recording a new album:
"This will be the last studio update until we're ready to announce that the whole thing is completed. The rhythm guitars was done in mid June, and we immediately proceeded with the vocals... the lead guitar & bass guitar has been recorded simultaneously and now where very close to have everything on disc. We're hoping to be 100% through this weekend.
"The mixing hasn't been planned yet but with a little luck we can do it in the following weeks thus the album with be ready for shopping in August. August has been our deadline from the start and it's really nice that it seems we'll make it.
"The title is found but we'll hold on to that for a little longer..."

Denmark's Corpus Mortale has issued the following recording update:
"Due to various reasons the recordings has been delayed a bit after the recording of the drums. The last month (or so) we've been recording guitars and they're about halfway through.
"The band is working towards a deadline in June so the rest of the guitars + bass & vocals should be tracked and ready for mix by that time. More up-dates will follow as we proceed - maybe a few photos will be added as well..."

Denmark's Corpus Mortale has issued the following announcement about recording new material for an upcoming release:
"Studio up-date February 2011: Just returned from 4 days at the AntFarm studio. 10 songs nailed by Rasmus. In a few days we'll start tracking guitars at the home studio - vocal sessions are planned for late March or early April. We'll be back soon with some more info on the songs themselves."
The band's music can also be heard through the official Corpus Mortale MySpace profile here.
Denmark's Corpus Mortale has issued the following announcement about canceling two upcoming live shows:
"The two shows in Copenhagen at the 2/11 & in Aarhus at the 3/11 are canceled. The reason is a mixture of bad economy and unrealistic routing (simply too far between Aarhus & Stockholm by car). The bands Insision, Abysmal Torment, Die, and Corpus Mortale are all very sorry for not coming to perform anyway. We'll be back one way or the other.
"Insision has shown interest in coming sometime soon to do a few gigs, and Die will most likely be a part of those as well! Abysmal Torment are bound to return sometime soon, we'll make sure of that. The other show are still happening and they are: 4/11 Kafé44, Stockholm - Sweden, 5/11 Betong, Oslo - Norway (+ Hideous Divinity), 6/11 Henriksberg, Gothenburg - Sweden @ Gothenburg DeathFest."
Denmark based death metal act Corpus Mortale has issued the following announcement about gearing up to enter the recording studio:
"The news first. We can finally announce (after several delays) that we have booked the infamous AntFarm studio for the recordings of the 3rd CM album. If all goes according to the plans it should be fully recorded, mixed and mastered before new year. As soon as we begin the recordings we'll make a studio blog which we will up-date regularly. Jacob Olsen (Panzerchrist etc.) will be in charge og the sound, engineering and mixing. We'll also have a photo-session going down next week so expect a series of pictures with our pretty faces very soon.
"Tour-update: It's always dangerous to announce anything before it's certain it will happen therefore we haven't posted anything about the following Eastern European mini-tour until now. Now it should be 100% sure we'll go and we really look forward to it since we haven't played those countries before and we've only heard good things about the crowds those places. We'll be going with Hungarian band MALEDICTION + various local support acts. You can check out the dates in the event list.
"Furthermore our forthcoming Scandinavian tour with ABYSMAL TORMENT & INSISION is beginning to take shape.. 3 shows are already posted and if everything works out as planned we have 4-5 more in store for you freaks. Keep an eye out for up-dates. As for 2011 a lot of VERY interesting offers has come up, more news on those later. Also we have several festivals lined up for next summer, but it's too early to mention any of those as well."
Denmark's Corpus Mortale have issued the following update on their MySpace page:
"In October, guitarist Roar Christoffersen decided to call it quits after seven years in Corpus Mortale. The reason is that he wants to concentrate solely on his other band Bastards. What initially was just meant as a 'helping hand' for a limited time turned out to be seven great years with one of the best musicians in the scene. He had (and will hopefully continue to have) a major role in the shaping of the trademark Corpus sound as well as the songwriting of both full-length albums. We thank Roar for all the time, dedication and efforts he put into the band through the years." More...
