Below is our complete Burn In Silence news coverage, including columns and articles pertaining to the band. Some articles listed may be indirectly related, such as side projects of the band members, etc.

Nothing spices up a shitty, rainy afternoon like a good, old-fashioned metal show. And it’s even better when said daytime metal show includes some bonafide rock stars kicking complete ass in an intimate venue.
That’s just what unfolded in the dank, dark confines of Church in the shadows of Boston’s Fenway Park this past Saturday when Brian Fair of Shadows Fall and Mike D’Antonio of Killswitch Engage shattered the day’s doldrums with an hour of thrashy punk with their new side project Death Ray Vision.
The pair of old friends, joined by KsE/Seemless guitarist Pete Cortese, Cannae drummer Colin Conway and newcomer Zack Wells also on guitar, unveiled the new band a couple weeks ago at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Mass.
But this was their first show in Boston and it was a throwback to the all-ages union hall shows where the band members started out. They chose heavily from their newly-released EP “Get Lost or Get Dead,” ripping through “Shatter Frames,” “Get Lost” and the punishing hardcore romp, “Not for Glory.” More...
Boston Massachusetts based metal band, BURN IN SILENCE, have canceled their farewell show. The band issues the following explaination:
"Many apologies, but we have to cancel the farewell show. It saddens us just as much as you. Unfortunately there were too many complications in putting together the show. We have decided that we were not meant to have a last show, after many failed attempts."
"Thanks to everyone's support throughout the years. Please keep in touch. Looking forward to seeing all of you at shows. And hopefully we can continue to see you in our new bands. Please support Max and Al in Despised Icon, Chris in Acaro, and Jason and Wes in Your Pain Is Endearing. Thanks everyone, and once again, sorry we couldn't have one more night of destruction."
While they’re not playing in their other bands (ARSIS, DESPISED ICON, SEXCREMENT, etc.), Massachusetts-based brutal death metallers GORATORY have announced plans for two upcoming “reunion” shows:
“GORATORY is confirmed for NRW Deathfest in Germany on Sept 19-20th. We will also be booking one US show in Boston which we are working on right now. This is gonna be our first time playing live in over 3 years and we wont be able to get back together for a while after so come on out and party!!”
BURN IN SILENCE vocalist Chris Harrell has issued the following update:
"It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the end of Burn In Silence.
"This band has had the great opportunity to play shows all across the country with great bands and in front of great people. I want to thank every musician who helped to make Burn In Silence what it was no matter how long they were in the band. I will continue to keep our MySpace page updated as to let you guys know what is going on with the former members.
"Thank you all very much for your love and support over the past years, through the good and the bad you put a smile on my face every day knowing that we had people that cared about this band!
"We will never forget you guys and all the love.
"Sincerely and always, Chris and all of Burn In Silence."

"[We] would like to take this opportunity to introduce the new members of Burn In Silence. Those of you who saw us on the $2 Brawler tour have already met and embraced these new members and we thank all of you for making them feel like family.
First let me thank Rob for taking the time to learn the songs(no easy feat) and helping us by doing the Brawler tour and our show this past Sat. Although he will not be able to be our full-time drummer, he is and will be family in our minds and our hearts from here on out.
We would like to please welcome James Roseberry (from Dalls TX) on guitar, Pete Barquet also on guitar, and Andy on bass. As many of you know this is not an easy life to lead, and these guys gave up everything to help in our quest to bring this music to as many people as possible. As most of you know we are on the hunt for a full time drummer, and as soon as the position is filled we will be booking like crazy. For info on booking us please contact us or our booking agent at Thunderdome Touring. We have some very exciting things on tap for the summer and can't wait to get back out to see all of you. To all of our family across the country and the world, you are all the support we need and more love we could ever hope for!"

DESPISED ICON have posted the following update:
“After going though tons of audition videos, we’d like to introduce our new guitarist; from Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Al Glassman (Goratory, ex-Burn In Silence). Al learned and played the songs perfectly but most of all, he’s an awesome dude and we’re glad to have him as a guitarist and as a friend. He joined us on our latest Canadian tour and proved to us and to the rest of the crowd that he’s the perfect guy for the band. Thumbs up!
We just got home from our Canadian tour. Almost every single show was sold out! We hadn’t toured home in while and we’d like to thank everyone that showed up for making this a memorable experience. Our plane for Europe leaves tomorrow! This will be our first time touring overseas and we can’t wait to see what it’s like. We hope to see you there.”
BURN IN SILENCE, LIGEIA, THE HANDSHAKE MURDERS, and APIARY are taking part in the $2 Brawler Tour. The press release reads:
"Remember the days when a band played in your town for spare change? Back when just enough cash to buy gas and food was all they wanted in return for a killer show with the mere love of the music fueling the room? Now, Monster Energy Drink and 4 hardworking, dedicated metal bands are bringing those days back!"
"Starting on February 9th in Dover, New Hampshire, LIGEIA, BURN IN SILENCE, THE HANDSHAKE MURDERS and APIARY are returning their appreciation to the loyal music lovers by asking next to nothing for a night of high-octane metal and good music-loving company. A mere $2.00 at the door gets you over 4 hours of brutal, intense, street aggressive metal, without burning a hole in your wallet."
"Finally. A tour with the music and the fans in mind, not the money!"
