"After almost half a year of intense and isolated recording, our new album The Satanic Verses has been recorded and is in its final stages of post-production. The entire band has poured all of our negative emotions and musical ability into creating a work to define our storied legacy and reflect Abazagorath's 17 year reign of darkness in the USBM scene!"
Abazagorath confirmed that the upcoming album is in fact based on the infamous "Gharaniq incident" - where the Islamic prophet Mohammed allegedly acknowledged 3 satanic goddesses in the Qu'ran- as well as the controversial Salman Rushdie novel "The Satanic Verses."

Black metal act Abazagorath has checked in with the following statement about working on new material:
"Abazagorath lapsed into suspended animation from about 2007 - 2011 due to some shake ups & turmoil within the line up as well as most of the membership's involvement in a number of other musical entities such as In Memorium, Immolith, Fenuebrarum, & Evoken.
"The time has come for The Spirit of Misanthropy & Solitude to come forth once again to wreak its dire wrath upon the unwitting & enfeebled Black Metal scene of today. New material is being crafted and honed to lethal precision, previously unreleased hymns will force their way unto the world, and a new campaign of Live Terror Desecration Rituals is already being plotted. U.S. underground death metal band Funebrarum has signed to Cyclone Empire to release their first full length of new material since their hiatus four years ago. The band was formed by guitarist Nick Orlando (EVOKEN) and vocalist Daryl Kahan (Abazagorath) in April of 1999, with the intention of creating dark, nihilistic, crushing, morbid death metal. With fellow Abazagorath and Evoken member Dario Derna filling in on drums, the band recorded their debut demo "Triumphant Ascent" later that same year. Though the sound quality of the rushed recording was extremely crude, the material was well received by the underground metal hordes. The core line-up was solidified with the addition of Abazagorath bassist David Wagner providing the destructive low end. The first complete line-up was finalized with the addition of drummer Brian Jimenez. More...
Metalrulez Productions has announed two new releases due this fall. Their announcement follows:
"We are proud to annouce that in Autumn we will release Stahlmantel - "Satan Snuff Machine".
Stahlmantel is a project created by Bartsch (also in Bethlehem). His newest creation is a combination of dark electronic sounds with aggresive black metal vocals of Nihilist (also in Abazagorath, In Memorium, Lord Gore etc) and twisted riffs by Olaf Eckhardt (also in Bethlehem). No fucking remorse! Really sick, twisted, suicidal music!
"In Autumn we will also release a newest Inseminator album. No suprises here, only pure oldschool thrash/black/death metal. Prepare yourself for total destruction!"
