Tom Morello Puts On Free Performance

Tom Morello performed for free on Saturday, February 13 - with just an acoustic guitar and harmonica - near the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California to show his support for the hospitality workers who have been fasting since February 9 in an effort to receive better healthcare. He played the Rage Against the Machine song "Guerrilla Radio" as well as a variation of a controversial "lost" verse of Woody Guthrie's American working class anthem "This Land is Your Land." Jerry Cantrell At Road to Recovery Benefit Concert

Jerry Cantrell will appear in a supergroup alongside Perry Farrell, Tom Morello, Wayne Kramer, Don Was, and Billy Bragg to perform at the Road Recovery Benefit Concert 2009 at Nokia Theater in NYC on May 1. The event is in honor of Wayne Kramer of MC5 and benefits Road Recovery, an organization dedicated to helping young people battle addiction.

The emcee will be Matt Pinfield. Also appearing are Joan As Police Woman, Ours, Miggs, Crazy James, and more surprise guests.
