The group has since issued the following update: "We still haven't decided who will be the new permanent vocalist in DEMONICAL and as there is no hurry really, we will not take any rash decision either."
"As stated earlier we had a guy named Widda with us on the tour in Finland. For the Metalmania festival in Poland we tried something different and gave Lisa (yep, that's a female) the opportunity to front the band. Both were great and did excellent jobs so big hails to them!!" More...

"We've been doing a lot of pre-production for the coming fourth album during last few weeks, and the stuff is starting to kick some serious ass and ear! The actual album recording session will begin next Sunday, at Easter Sunday, what could be more evil metal date to start the studio sessions! It seems that OG will be returning to more melodic approach on this album, back to the glory days, hehe. But no worries, the stuff will still be as heavy as a really heavy thing!" More...

The Project Hate Complete 7 Songs For New Album
THE PROJECT HATE — the Swedish band featuring vocalist Jörgen Sandström (ex-ENTOMBED, GRAVE), guitarist Lord K. Philipson (GOD AMONG INSECTS, ex-LEUKEMIA), bassist Michael Håkansson (ENGEL, ex-EVERGREY), guitarist Petter S. Freed (2 TON PREDATOR), singer Jo Enckell (IGNORANCE BLISS) and drummer Daniel "Mojjo" Moilanen (RELEVANT FEW, DRACENA, RUNEMAGICK, LORD BELIAL, ENGEL) — has issued the following update:
"All the seven songs [for the new THE PROJECT HATE album] are now finished. Seven songs of the music you love when it comes to the HATE. It's time to complete the lyrics now, something that will definitely take some time. During the coming months (or more thruthfully; until we actually record the album) we will enhance the material as we go along, making everything even better, more infernal and all-around even more utterly dominating. We dig to work like that, you know."
"All vocal parts have been decided and both Jo and J are hard at work with what they will deliver next time. We have even contacted some of the planned guest musicians that we want on the next masterpiece. Some of them being childhood heroes actually. Maybe..."
THE PROJECT HATE's last album, "In Hora Mortis Nostræ", was released in September 2007 via Stormvox Records, the label owned by Swedish actor Peter Stormare.

Vader Announce Special 25th Anniversary Show
Death metal legends Vader have issued the following announcement on their official website:
It's going to be the loudest anniversary! 25 years on death metal scene, what a great result! Only few bands were able to survive for so unimaginable period of time. Among them there's a Polish death metal band Vader! Massive Music - band's management and booking agency is going to celebrate this great anniversary with a special concert. The show will take place in Warsaw, at Stodola Club on 30th of August.
"Hopefully the venue will be completely packed this day. There are at least a few good reasons to come to this special show. You will see a bunch of famous metal guests, also bands that in the 80's together with Vader created extreme metal scene. The guest-list we've created is quite impressive. Unfortunately, some of them can't appear on the show due to their other obligations. Some of them are maybe too big to be a part of this, I would say- pretty uncommercial event. That's also why we decided to organize this anniversary at Stodola Club, it will be a show for most dedicated Vader's maniacs. Anyhow, you can expect a great package! " (Mariusz Kmiolek - Massive Music)
First bands confirmed for this show are Grave (Sweden), Nile (US), Rotting Christ (Greece) and Krisiun (Brazil). More special guests of Vader's anniversary gig will be announced soon. Another good reason to come to the show is of course Vader! The band will play over two-hour liveset, presenting songs from old demo tapes as well as Vader's famous hits from recent studio albums. The show will be filmed for an anniversary DVD release tentatively called "XXV" (to be released in 2009).
"This time we can promise you a very special release. We don't want to screw up things as it happened with our latest DVD. To refresh the entire concept of a metal DVD we decided to work with people who have never filmed a metal show. They have a great experience in making videoclips, TV programs, advertisements and other things. Those fresh ideas blended with our visions will guarantee something really special. The DVD will feature not only a show, but also a lot of backstage footage including many surprises." (Mariusz Kmiolek - Massive Music)
Exclusively for this day Vader will prepare not only a special live set, but also a special stage design and some other surprises. On the anniversary party you will see also some other famous guests from a music industry. The band is going to launch a special anniversary website. Be prepared for XXV anniversary of Vader!

Dismember, Grave and Absymal Dawn Tour Cancelled
Abysmal Dawn's Charles Elliott has sent in the following update regarding the cancellation of the Dismember and Grave tour that they were scheduled to be part of:
"For whatever reasons our tour with Dismember and Grave has been cancelled. This situation is completely out of our control and we hope that people understand and come out to support us next time. Words cannot express how frustrate we feel at the moment after taking this tour on such short notice. We would like to thank Mike Bear (Artisan) for offering to fill in for Carlos on this tour at the last minute. As many of you know he played bass on "From Ashes" and would have done an amazing job. The first date of the tour will still take place at the Knitting Factory in Hollywood on December 1st. The lineup for the night will be Abysmal Dawn, Coffin Texts, Letum Ascensus, Nema and Unsanctified. Tickets are only $8 for the night and if you bought tickets in advance you can come down to the show for either a partial or full refund."
This announcement comes not long after The Absence dropped off the Entombed, Dismember, and Grave tour "because of several unresolved problems" with their booking agent.
