Spainish metallers, Dark Moor, have parted ways with bassist Dani Fernandez. Dark Moor have replaced him with bassist Mario García.
Dani Fernandez has issued the following personal statement about his departure:
"I will try to go straigh to the point in this statement. After thinking about this a lot, I took this tough decision that my time in Dark Moor ends here. In the last few months my head was not with Dark Moor and this situation could have been damaging for the band and for my personal relation with Alfred, Enrik and Roberto in a near future, therefore after some conversations with the guys I have made this decision, which I think is the right thing to do." Dark Moor will release their new album entitled "Beyond The Sea" in March 2005. The album was recorded at M20 (drums and backing vocals) and New Sin Studios. The cover artwork has been painted by Derek Gores (Kamelot).
The first edition of the album will be limited to 5000 copies and contains an exclusive bonus track. In this new amazing album the band shows less baroque elements, heavier guitars and a more powerful sound than on their previous recordings. Probably, the tracks are more direct than in the past...this time the band wanted to be more focussed in their search for the right melodies than in an overloaded production.

DREAMAKER is the name of the band formed by the ex-members of the Spanish Power metal act DARK MOOR. The lineup features: Elisa C. Martín (vocals), Albert Maroto (guitar) and Jorge Sáez (drums). They will release their debut album "Human Device" in March 2004. "Human Device" should not be described as a Power Metal album. The unique style of Elisa¹s voice is the bridge between Dark Moor and Dreamaker but Dreamaker prefers to offer a more direct music based on a powerful guitar sound and ambient keyboards, but persevering the good melodies in the vocal lines. "Human Device" could be called as a new step in the metal genre.
