In addition to the tour lineup, Darkest Hour, Stray From The Path and Your Demise will be joining the party on select dates.
UNEARTH's Trevor Phipps comments: "This is going to be our first North American Headlining tour in over a year and we are amped to get back out there. We'll be playing tunes from all of our albums, some extra deep cuts we haven't played in a while and some stuff we haven't played live yet from The March. We've been messing around with some different lights and stage set ups and will mix up the set each night, so it will be different from past tours. It's a solid package of bands and we can't wait to get on stage, play a headlining set and rage with our fans."

California metal band WINDS OF PLAGUE continue their extensive worldwide touring schedule in support of the highly acclaimed "The Great Stone War" in 2010 with another headliner dubbed the "Never Say Die! Tour." This massive, month-long trek, which kicks off on Jan. 23rd, also features labelmates Despised Icon alongside For Today, Stray From The Path and The World We Knew.
Johnny (vocals) further states: “We have just passed the halfway mark on ‘The California Love’ tour and already the tour has proven to be a massive success, as well as a very memorable moment in WINDS OF PLAGUE history. This has been our first sole headliner, which is nerve racking in itself, but the WOP Soldiers have been strong in numbers and have been some of the most insane shows we have played to date. It’s been awesome to get back into some smaller clubs that we have played while we were coming up and re-visit our roots. This tour also marks the debut of keyboardist Alana Potocnik to the band. Alana's positive attitude and hungry work ethic is a breath of fresh air, with her talent and creative writing abilities new material will be nothing short of epic. With our return to Southern California for the December Decimation Fest still on the horizon, ‘The California Love’ tour will go down in our history as some of the best times of our lives and we thank our fans for making it all possible. The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will introduce an additional stage this year dedicated to up and coming bands.
The third stage, sponsored by Deathcote Records, will be located at Chasers Nightclub, located behind the Palladium on the corner of Martin Luther King and Commercial streets. The main festival will be taking place at the Palladium.
“There are so many great bands and not enough time to get all of them on during the course of two days,” said festival co-organizer Sott Lee. “Adding a third stage is a great way for us to showcase some of the developing bands and it’s a terrific opportunity for these bands to play alongside some of today’s top metal and hardcore bands.”
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will take place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, with the Atticus pre-party on Thursday, April 16. This year’s event is presented by Randall Amplifiers, Washburn Guitars and Eden Electronics. Metal Blade Records will present the main stage. Prosthetic Records will present the second stage.
The Atticus-sponsored pre-party will be a unique event that will be combining film and music, kicking off with a screening of official film sponsor Anchor Bay's film "Crowley," co-written by none other than Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson. The provocative supernatural thriller is the tale of a virtual reality experiment gone wrong, sending the soul of the British occultist Aleister Crowley into the body of a shy university professor. But even as Crowley creates all-new orgies of depraved pleasures and black magic, he is now preparing to unleash the ultimate occult event upon the world. Also showing is "Anvil! The Story of Anvil," a sometimes revealing, sometimes hilarious documentary about the legendary Canadian metal band. The movie follows best friends Robb Reiner and Lips as they make a pact to rock together forever. Their band, Anvil, hailed as the "demi-gods of Canadian metal, " influenced a musical generation that includes Metallica, Slayer, and Anthrax, despite never hitting the big time. Following a calamitous European tour, Lips and Robb, now in their fifties, set off to record their 13th album in one last attempt to fulfill their boyhood dreams. The film will be followed by a performance by the band itself. The pre-party will also be held at the Palladium. Admission is free with a weekend pass or $15 for non-ticket holders.
Prices this year are $40 for Friday, $45 for Saturday or $79 for a 2-day ticket that also includes free admission to the kick off party on Thursday. Tickets are available at all Strawberries, FYE Stores, online at tickets.com or by calling (800) 477-6849. Tickets are available now.

Shai Hulud will be taking the spot of recently disbanded Verses on New Found Glory’s upcoming headlining tour with Bayside and Set Your Goals. For those unaware, Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory is an original member of Hulud... so he may or may not be joining them on stage.
Shai Hulud comments on the arrangements:
"Continuing our mission to relentlessly tour, and damage and drive our bodies and van straight into the ground, we have two months worth of two tours to announce. We'll be out supporting Stick To Your Guns along with In Fear And Faith and Stray From The Path for just about two weeks starting in early March. A righteous run you say? Indeed, but wait there's more. Directly after our stint with the aforementioned, we join up with Set Your Goals and Bayside to assist them in supporting A New Found Glory (minus the "A") as they support their forthcoming album Not Without A Fight. Now that's not something you see every day! For those of you who might not know, New Found Glory and Shai Hulud are more closely related than you might realize: we both started in South Florida back in the 90's together, we always stayed friendly and in touch, and early on even shared a member. As unique as the pairing may seem, it's also a perfect fit - and that's not mentioning NFG's clear and obvious ties to the hardcore scene. Chad Gilbert has an original press of Start Today on vinyl... and you don't. So there. Not so harder-core-than-thou now, eh brown cow?
"We know what you're wondering. The answer is.................. quite possibly. There are no definitive plans for Captain Straight Edge a.k.a. Chadball to hop on the mic and sing a song with us, however, it's certainly not out of the question. We in Shai Hulud would be as pinkly tickled as yourselves to have Chad share the stage with us. As always, the invitation is there. We'll enjoy the moment if and when it arrives. Oh, the torture of uncertainty."
Here are Shai Hulud's latest tour dates: More...
Shai Hulud has issued the following statement about their recent shows in Japan:
"Shai Hulud is home and recovering from a spectacular week-long Japanese excursion, the highlight of which was our performance at Pump Up The Volume Fest in Kawasaki. A huge thanks must be given to Daiki and Alliance Trax for bringing us over, as well as our tour mates in Parkway Drive and Crystal Lake, and the following bands we met up with along the way: Endzweck, FC Five, FORDIRELIFESAKE, Trash Talk, Carpathian, and Doggie Hoodz. Lastly, thanks to all the kids that came and sang along, it is much appreciated."
Shai Hulud will be taking part in the "How To Power Clean Everything" tour alongside Stick To Your Guns, In Fear and Faith, and Stray From The Path. The currently confirmed tour dates are as follows: More...
