Tribal influenced nu metal outfit Ill Nino has posted their new music video online for the song, "If You Still Hate Me." You can check it out below. A message from the band reads as follows:
"HEY MANIACS! We have a little video treat for you all. The song is called "If You Still Hate Me". The footage was shot for, and aired on, MTV Russia during the second leg of the "Enigma" world tour. Our European tour had just finished the night before. Our show was to be in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Our flights were overnight with a layover in Moscow. Our schedule was tight to begin with and flight delays nearly cancelled the first Russian show. Nevertheless, we got there with just enough time to set up our gear and play. We really have to thank our road crew for pulling this one off - and also all of the crazy Russian fans for making this such a great experience. The audio is 100% raw and unmixed but, powerful indeed. Hope you dig it. Comment to let us know what you think!" More...

Marc Rizzo is one of the new breed of young guitarists in contemporary bands and has built a substantial following through his years of touring and recording with ILL NINO, SOULFLY and now breaking metal history with shredding for metal icons Max and Iggor Cavalera in CAVALERA CONSPIRACY.
Rizzo has stepped out with solo projects that reveal a phenomenal command of the guitar. Both solo albums unveils Rizzo to be a master musician with deep musical roots in metal, classical and flamenco guitar.
Colossal Myopia is a mixture of all the music that Rizzo listens to. It’s a combination of metal, nuevo flamenco and jazz.
“I don’t really listen to one type of music and I think my record showcases that,” explains Rizzo. “It’s an all instrumental CD for music lovers that want to enjoy pure music without all the politics and negative lyrical content.” More...
ILL NINO will release its highly anticipated fourth full-length album, titled "Enigma", in Europe on April 7 via Cement Shoes/Soulfood Music.
"We have a tremendous amount of artistic freedom now," explains drummer Dave Chavarri of the band's new label home. "We're able to express ourselves without boundaries on 'Enigma'."
And that new-found freedom is evident from note one. "Enigma" is a much more natural-sounding album than any of its predecessors, with Latin rhythms and Spanish vocals snaking in and out of the more traditional numbers.
Starting with over 30 songs, the band took their time in choosing which tracks would make the final cut. "On past albums we spent about four months to record, mix and master. On 'Enigma' we spent almost seven months, as we wanted to make sure everything was the best that it could be," Chavarri notes.
After the music had been laid down, vocalist Cristian Machado set about penning the lyrics to bring the true identity of each piece.
"It's really about the deterioration of our planet and the policies that have contributed to the current situation of the world," Machado explains of the lyrical bent of "Enigma", "It's a story about destruction and consequence. Life and death. Elemental fury and spiritual awakening." And yet for all of its scathing indictments, the album is one of both anger and beauty. "Ultimately I think our message is a positive one. We promote self-awareness and individuality."
In addition to a new album, April also sees the band returning to the UK for a five-date tour. "We're finally coming back to Europe, all of us in ILL NINO cannot wait to get back and rock out. Visiting Europe and the UK is always an amazing Experience!!"
ILL NINO's UK dates:
April 26 - UK [to be announced]
April 27 - UK - London - Islington Acadamy
April 28 - UK - Wrexham - Central Station
April 29 - UK - Birmingham - Academy 2
April 30 - UK - Cheltenham - The Night Owl
"Light The Fire", the new album by Florida metalcore band EKOTREN, was released today (February 19) in North America via Blind Prophecy Records. The first single, "Tranquilized", has been tearing across the airwaves, earning titles as Most Added Band on FMQB and #4 on CMJ's Loud Rock charts.

EKOTREN will be on tour with ILL NINO and DROID until March 2 and will celebrate its homecoming with a CD-release party on March 8 at Club Ricochet in Fort Myers, Florida.

ILL NINO's last release was the "The Undercover Sessions" EP, which came out in November 2006 through Cement Shoes. The CD was comprised of three of ILL NINO's favorite cover songs from bands they loved growing up as fans, and two brand new songs — all overseen by legendary producer Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE), Dave Chavarri and Eddie Wohl (ANTHRAX, 36 CRAZYFISTS, MACHINE HEAD). The EP was the band's first release through Cement Shoes following their split with the Roadrunner label. More...
