Amon Amarth have posted the following message on their official website:
"Well, the US tour is over for this time. We've had a fucking great time during these six weeks, and we'd like to thank Children of Bodom and their crew for a fantastic tour. Thanks also to Trivium with crew, and good luck on the In Flames tour. Last but not least, thanks to all you fans - old and new - who came to the shows and made every one of them a magical experiense! Special thanks to those of you who bought us beers and booze. We truely appreciate it, and we hope to see you all next time around!
"The plan now is to take a couple of weeks off, before we start working on the new album in January. The recording is scheduled for May/June this year.
"We wish you all the best for the end of this year, and a great 2006!
Amon Amarth vocalist, Johan Hegg, has posted the following tour update on the band's official website:
"Time flies when you're having fun, and time during the last three weeks has been super sonic!! Since last time we checked in we've played Salt Lake City, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, San Fransisco, Santa Ana, Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Diego, and all of those shows has been great. Every show virtually sold out, with amazing support from the crowd.
"In fact the tour has been so good, that we underestimated the amount of T-shirts we'd need, and therefore ran out in Los Angeles. Unfortunately we realized this too late and weren't able to re-stock until today in Dallas. To all of you who hoped to buy T-shirts or longsleeves in Los Angeles, Phoenix and San Diego, we can only say we're sorry about that, and we promise to bring enough stuff next time.
"Right now we're kicking back with a couple of cold ones after the show here in Dallas. It's was great to see all you fans - old and new - and to talk to you after the show. We hope to see all of you next time!"
Children of Bodom headlined a show at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, BC on November 22. I have been waiting for Children of Bodom to do a headlining tour here in North America for a long time now. I was excited for weeks after I found out they were finally headlining here. There was no way in hell I was going to miss this show, and neither were the several hundred people who packed into the oversold venue. More...
Swedish metallers AMON AMARTH will make an exclusive in-store appearance on Tuesday, November 29 at 3:00 p.m. at:
Blue Meannie Records
1164 N 2nd St
El Cajon, CA 92021
The band will be meeting fans, signing autographs and "listening to metal."
AMON AMARTH are currently touring North American with CHILDREN OF BODOM and TRIVIUM in support of their latest album, "Fate of Norns", available on Metal Blade Records.
Amon Amarth has posted this update on the band's official website:
"Just got off stage from the Quebec show, it was the first time for us in this city and you made us feel really welcome, thank you!! It was the perfect start for this tour, despite the problems that we had. Like the backdrop, power supply for our European equipment, and some lost items in Iceland. Fredrik also had an incident there which forced him to seek out a hospital to get his hand sewn up; nothing major, just a couple of stitches. But nothing will stop us or interfer with our North American raid!
"Speaking of which, the two sold out shows on Iceland was absolutely amazing! A big thanks to all you crazy Icelandic metal heads for coming to the shows!
"We look forward to continue this great tour with so many shows sold out already. See you there and remember, don't be late!"
The following message was posted on the official Amon Amarth website:
"Alright, just a week left until we head out on tour again! Starting with two off shows half-way; on Iceland. It was hard to put a set together with the time limit we have (30 min) but it is a deadly intense set! It's going to be cool to come back to North American soil again after two years and we look forward touring with Children of bodum and Trivium. It's going to be an awesome ride with many of the shows already sold out!
Remember to be there early since we're first up to play!
See you in the pit!"

The U.S. version includes a previously unreleased bonus track that is exclusive to the U.S. release — a cover of the RAMONES classic "Somebody Put Something In My Drink".
CHILDREN OF BODOM's forthcoming fifth album is the follow-up to 2003's "Hate Crew Deathroll", which has sold in excess of 200,000 copies worldwide. The band recently filmed a video for the track "In Your Face" with Katapult Productions, who have previously worked with RAMMSTEIN, among others.

The following is Amon Amarth's official statement concerning the chaotic MMS Festival in Croatia:
End of April this year, we were contacted by the organizers of MMS festival in Croatia to play at the MMS festival and possibly do a bonus show in Hungary in connection to this festival. As the organisation seemd serious and professional, we accepted the deal they had for us. It was agreed that the organizer was to book and pay for the plane tickets, for the band plus sound engineer.
As the months went along, no tickets turned up and there was no news on the Hungarian show. Eventually, we realized that there wasn't going to be a Hungarian show at all, and we were beginning to doubt whether there would be any tickets for us to fly down to Croatia.
A Montreal date on November 10th has been revealed for Children of Bodom, Trivium and Amon Amarth, presumably the start of a North American tour later this year. Confirmed dates are as follows:
