Be'lakor Signs To Prime Cuts Music

Dark, melodic death metal band from Melbourne, Be’lakor has quickly come to be regarded as one of Australia’s most promising and creative metal acts. Two years have passed since the independent release of their debut, "The Frail Tide," and now the band's highly anticipated second album, "Stone's Reach," is set for release on June 20, 2009.

Be'lakor Posts Two New Songs Online

Melbourne death metal band Be’lakor has posted two tracks from their upcoming album, "Stone’s Reach," on their MySpace player. The album is set to be released on June 20th at their album launch at The Espy in Melbourne, and will also be available online and during the band’s four-stop Australian tour throughout June and July.

Be'lakor Announces Australian Tour

Melbourne-based melodic death metal band Be'lakor recently announced their first national tour, supporting their highly anticipated second album, "Stone's Reach."

Their first show will be an album launch at Melbourne's The Espy, where they will be joined by Brisbane's 'neath, among others. They will then set off to Adelaide, Brisbane before concluding in Sydney at an unannounced venue and date.

The band has also revealed the cover art for the album, which is to be released on June 20th.

Be'lakor's latest tour dates are as follows:

Saturday, June 20th – The Espy, Melbourne, VIC
with ‘Neath, Envenomed, Arbrynth and Untruth.

Saturday, July 4th – The Enigma Bar, Adelaide, SA

Be'lakor Announces New Album Title

Victorian melodic death metal band Be’lakor have announced that the title of their upcoming second release will be “Stone’s Reach.” The album will be the follow up to their 2007 debut release, “The Frail Tide.” The upcoming album clocks in at around the 55 minute mark and is due in June according to the band. They have also released the tracklisting:

Be'lakor Signs With Descent Productions

Descent Productions has announced the signing of Melbourne, Australia's dark melodic metal band Be'lakor.

In the year that has followed the independent release of their debut, "The Frail Tide," the band's international reputation has grown rapidly. Drawing influences from ancient mythology and the perpetual struggle between destruction and life, Be'lakor creates songs that take the listener on a compelling journey.

From the band: "We are thrilled to be signing with Descent Productions. The bands already on the roster are excellent, and we feel that as a label, Descent offers us great support and the freedom to continue making the music that we're so passionate about. This partnership will certainly bear fruit for our listeners into the future, so stay tuned."

In September 2008, "The Frail Tide" will be re-pressed and released in a special edition digipack format through Descent Productions. Be'lakor's as-yet untitled follow-up to this album will be released through Descent Productions in early 2009.
