Exodus And More Confirmed For Barge To Hell

The organizers of the Barge To Hell cruise have issued the following announcement about confirming Exodus, Seita, Havok, and Necronomicon:

"Let the world-wide EXODUS for BARGE TO HELL begin! Paying tribute to their global customer base, they've also added: SEITA from Brazil and The Netherlands, HAVOK from the USA, NECRONOMICON from Germany and HEADCRUSHER from Colombia!

"Barge To Hell's customer service team is working around the clock to get everything ready for those that are booked to perform online check-in. Booked passengers can expect to receive their online check-in invitation on Monday.

"The madness begins on December 3rd, when 40 of the most extreme Metal Bands and 2,000 headbangers from all over the world will go to the Caribbean to take over a luxury cruise ship for a 5 day and 4 night trip to the undead! See each of the 40 bands play two live shows on two different days. That's 80 shows with unrestricted festival access to the three stages, each with it's own unique atmosphere:

- The luxurious 'A Chorus Line' theater where they spare no expense to have the benches removed on the floor. Because at a Metal show, who actually wants assigned seating in front of the stage?

- The cozy 'Spectrum' that gives you the real club feeling.

- And their jewel: The open air stage on the pool deck. The biggest festival stage to sail the Oceans.

"You can also get all your memorabilia signed at the Meet & Greet sessions. Be part of their infamous Metal Karaoke and many other special activities with the Artists. And last, but not least: Don't forget that they have bars on board that never close! What are you waiting for? You might even need a vacation from this vacation when all is said and done."

"Carnival Cadavre" will be released on August 22nd in Europe and August 30th in North America through Lifeforce Records. The band recently posted the following statement regarding the album:

"It’s hard to believe. After two years in-between rehearsal room, shows, being on tour and pre-production we finally managed to get our third album ready to launch. It’s named 'Carnival Cadavre' and will be tested in human experiment at the Summer Breeze Festival in Dinkelsbühl on August 19th for the first time. Once again we produced our album with Corni Bartels at the Weltraum Studios and Björn Goosses (Killustrations) again purified our disc with a stunning artwork. We added another fine portion of groove and brutality for you and showed once again what Hackneyed is made of. With our new label Lifeforce Records we found the matching partner and we’re really looking forward to our future cooperation. We’re curious where our journey with the Carnival Cadavre will lead us within the next weeks and months. And perhaps soon it’s also close to you they say: The Circus’ Back in town!!!" More...

Hackneyed Posts "Carnival Cadavre" Artwork

Hackneyed has posted the cover artwork online for the band's new album "Carnival Cadavre," which can be viewed below. The band also commented on the art:

"Ladies and Gentleman, we proudly present the cover of our new album 'Carnival Cadavre.' As with our last album we've drawn on the proven work of Björn Goosses from Killustrations. And we weren't disappointed!

"An artwork 'having hand and foot (German saying for 'holding water')' in the true sense of the word! The truth behind the 'Carnival Cadavre' is only revealed after a second glance at the bright fairground and circus atmosphere with Ferris wheel and circus tents. And neither on the cover nor in the songs a lack of blood, guts or Hackneyed's very own black humor can be observed. But see for yourself."

A previously uploaded studio video clip of the band's time recording the new album can be found at this location.
