Graves Of Valor Announces Shows With Goatwhore
Graves of Valor will team up with Goatwhore for a run of late August tour dates in the southern U.S. The South Carolina quintet will also be playing around North and South Carolina this coming weekend. The band's upcoming tour dates are as follows:

Graves Of Valor Announces More Tour Dates
Graves of Valor will be performing alongside EyeHateGod, Goatwhore, Vital Remains, and more throughout June. The South Carolina quintet will also be headlining dates in Columbia and Florence as well as appearing as part of this year’s Central Illinois Metalfest. Metalhit Offers Free Digital Music at MD Deathfest
Metalhit.com has organized a FREE Digital Music Compilation to be distributed at the Maryland Deathfest (May 28th-30th). The compilation will come in the form of a card, each with a unique code that will allow recipients to redeem their free compilation at the Metalhit.com website.
The card will be distributed at the Sevared Records, Paragon Records and Deathgasm Records vendor booths at the event. Stop by, pick one up, and check out the goods at these tables! Get them before they're gone (only 1,000 will be distributed).
The free compilation includes 16 songs featuring: WATAIN and PENTAGRAM, both of whom are performing at the event, as well as other stellar bands like REVOCATION, THE CRINN, WORMROT, GRAVES OF VALOR, HAIL OF BULLETS, NOMINON, CARDIAC ARREST, SECTIONED, DIABOLIC, COLONIZE THE ROTTING, ALDAARON, SACRILEGIOUS IMPALEMENT, VULVECTOMY, and ORTHRUS.
Metalhit.com will have download cards available at other worldwide metal events this year, such as the Michigan Deathfest and the Devilstone Festival in Lithuania.
Relapse Announces South By Southwest Line-Up
Relapse Records has issued the following update about the line-up for their South By Southwest label showcase show:
"Relapse Records is proud to announce the details for its 2010 South by Southwest (SXSW) label showcase. This showcase, presented in part with Roxwel.com, will be held at Red 7(611 E. 7th St., Austin, TX) on Wednesday, March 17th. This all ages event will be open to the public as well as SXSW badge and wristband holders.
"This year's line-up includes the legendary Voivod (Quebec, Canada) in their first Texas show in over six years, comedian Brian Posehn (Los Angeles, CA), Tombs (Brooklyn, NY), Graves of Valor (Florence, SC), Howl (Providence, RI), Mammoth Grinder (Austin, TX) and Kill The Client (Dallas, TX). Additional details, including set times, will be announced shortly."
Graves of Valor To Support Behemoth
GRAVES OF VALOR has announced that they will join BEHEMOTH for a handful of dates on their "Evangelia Amerika US Tour." The South Carolina quintet will be providing support during the Raleigh and Atlanta stops of the tour in early January. GRAVES OF VALOR will also be headlining a date in Lancaster, SC in late January at The Hot Box.

Revolver Offers Compilation For Free Download
When you are at Mayhem Fest this year, you can visit the Revolver tent to pick up your free Limited Edition Revolver/Mayhem special mini magazine. The magazine is just like the regular Revolver magazine, only smaller. It is 42 pages and features 26 bands such as Job For a Cowboy, Anthrax, Darkest Hour, Baroness, and Dying Fetus. The magazine is jam packed with exclusive interviews, but what is not included is the exclusive 21 track compilation, which you can download online in it's entirety for free.

Graves Of Valor Streaming Entire New Album Online
Graves of Valor’s Relapse debut "Salarian Gate" is currently streaming in its entirety here. The album will see its North American release date next Tuesday, May 26th followed by an international release on June 1st. Salarian Gate was recorded at Mana Recording Studios with engineer Brian Elliott.
The band has also lined up two record release shows in support of "Salarian Gate’s" release, including a free in-store performance and signing session at Earshot Records in Greenville, SC. The second show will take place in the band’s hometown of Florence, SC at Spin.
Obscura Drops Off "Relapse Contamination Tour"
Due to illness, death metallers, OBSCURA, have been forced to cancel the remaining dates of their North American tour. South Carolina’s GRAVES OF VALOR have recently entered the studio to begin recording their Relapse debut. The band is currently in Tampa, FL recording at Mana Recording Studios (HATE ETERNAL, SOILENT GREEN, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD) with engineer Brian Elliott. South Carolina's GRAVES OF VALOR has recently posted a cover of BUZZOV*EN's "Crawl Away" on their MySpace page. This cover will appear on an upcoming BUZZOV*EN tribute album, "Unfit To Consume...," on Sleeping Village Records alongside contributions from SOURVEIN, KYLESA, BALBOA, BLACK COBRA, BEATEN BACK TO PURE, and more. GRAVES OF VALOR are writing for their Relapse debut and follow-up to last year's EP, "Famine" (Tragic Hero Records). The band is scheduled to enter the studio this Winter to record their new full-length.
