Sister Sin Shooting New Video

Swedish female fronted rock band Sister Sin has announced the recording of a new video for the song "On Parole." The band issued the following statement on their MySpace Page:

Next weekend we're heading for Stockholm to shoot a video for our first single in the U.S. The track is "On Parole" and most of you are probably familiar with it since it has been on our MySpace for quite some time.

The director will be American man Mr. Bill Schacht from Astheticom. He has previously done vids with Dio, Tenacious D, Alice Cooper, King Diamond, and Amon Amarth.

Sister Sin Inks Deal With Victory Records

Female fronted and self proclaimed "sleaze metal" band Sister Sin has signed deals with Victory Records and Metal Heaven to release their first album. The band gave the following statement on their MySpace page:

"We are very proud to announce that we have signed a deal with Victory Records for the North Amercian territory, Australia and basically everywhere else except Europe where Metal Heaven will release the album. Looking forward to this co-operation and stay tuned for our first video and massive US tour dates!"

Archer Confirmed For Sweden Rock Festival

Archer has performed with some of the biggest names in rock including, Heaven and Hell, Heart and Sevendust. The band is looking forward to sharing the stage at the Sweden Rock Festival (www.swedenrock.com) this summer alongside such metal giants as Judas Priest, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Poison, RATT, Triumph, Saxon, Disturbed and many more as they return to Europe.

The Santa Cruz, CA-based power trio, who won "Best Local Band 2008" in the Metro Santa Cruz Goldies Awards, takes the stage on Saturday, June 7th, opening for some of the biggest names in the metal music genre. The Sweden Rock Festival is held in Norjeboke, in the tiny village of Norje which is situated in Sölvesborg in the western part of southern Sweden.

Archer’s debut album "Doom$day Profit$" is a "genuine tour-de-force, rich with powerful songs imbued with that essential combination of brain-burrowing melodies, ripping riffs, pulsing basslines, tsunami drums and grab-by-the-throat vocals." The band cites influences that include Ozzy and Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica and other legendary names.

Sister Sin Wins Slot On Sweden Rock Festival 08

Swedish, female fronted band SISTER SIN won the Nordic Challenge Competition where over 2500 bands entered to compete for a slot on the Sweden Rock Festival.

Sister Sin recently released their very well recieved EP "Smash The Silence" During 2007 they toured with W.A.S.P. around Europe. You can check out some of the band's material on their MySpace.

The Sweden Rock Festival 2008 will be headlined by Judas Priest, Def Lepard and Poison.
