Malevolent Creation To Play Death Feast Open Air

Malevolent Creation has issued the following announcement about performing at the upcoming 2011 edition of the Death Feast Open Air in Germany:

"The festival season starts in a couple of months. Malevolent Creation were now confirmed for Germany's Death Feast Open Air! The festival, which will celebrate its 5th anniversary this year, will take place from June 23-25, 2011 at Airport Schwarze Heide in Hünxe, Germany. A 3-day-ticket incl. camping costs 49€ w/o fees. A 1-day-ticket costs 25€ w/o fees (for June 23rd und June 24th) and 30€ w/o fees (for June 25th). You can also order a shower/toilet flat-rate for 10€. For further information visit here."

Frozen Doberman Re-Forms To Make Live Appearance

90s heavy metal band Frozen Doberman has announced that the band has reformed and is set to play a reunion show at Sydney’s Manning Bar on March 13th alongside bands such as Hellmen, Nunbait, The Celibate Rifles and more in an event titled the "Monster Sessions."

Formed in late 1989, Frozen Doberman burst onto the Sydney Metal Scene in the 90’s. Releasing two EP’s and an album, the trash metal quartet played support to some of the world’s biggest metal bands including Sepultura and Motorhead as well as touring nationally up until the bands split sometime around 1996/7.

In December 2009, the band released a nine track collection on iTunes and currently hold plans to re-release both their 1991 EP Dying Phase and the 1994 debut album "Bonsai" in 2010.

Depression Release Two New Split CDs

Germany's death/grinders DEPRESSION have two new split releases available: first of all the DEPRESSION / PAGANIZER split-CD, which features ten new studio tracks from DEPRESSION (including the BENEDICTION cover 'Artefacted Irreligion') and ten PAGANIZER tracks. Furthermore there's a videoclip from both bands on the enhanced CD. The other release is a split 7" EP with INHUMATE, featuring three new DEPRESSION tracks (including a cover of NAPALM DEATH's 'Mentally Murdered') as well as two INHUMATE tracks.
