Destinity Recruits New Vocalist

French outfit Destinity has issued the following announcement about recruiting a new vocalist:

"Hail friends and fans! It has been a few months without much news from us, during which we went through a recent line up change but also a new direction for the band. Destinity is now proud to present its new singer Yan Pierrat (former lead singer of X-Vision and current singer of the band Fifteen).

"After having auditioned quite a number of applicants, we chose Yan for his outstanding performance that impressed all of us in terms of energy and vocal ability. He also has various experiences on stage which will surely bring some freshness and a modern touch for Destinity's future."

French outfit Destinity artwork for the upcoming album "Resolve In Crimson," which was handled by Strychneen Studio. Destinity's new album, which was again produced by Jacob Hansen, is set to be released on November 19th in Europe and a day later in North America and is the follow-up to "XI Reasons to See" (reviewed here). Destinity Posts Pre-Production Video

French melodic death metal act Destinity has posted a pre-production video clip online, which is available below. The video shows the band working on new material a few days prior to entering Hansen studios in Denmark to record a new full-length album and follow-up to "XI Reasons To See" (reviewed here). Destinity also commented on the clip:

Destinity Working On New Album

French act Destinity has issued the following statement about working on a new album and appearing at upcoming festivals:

"Hi to all of you people, some news of the band: A big thanks to all of you for coming and supporting Destinity during the month of April 2011 with our friends of Loudblast! We are currently working on the next album and it looks really devastating ! You have to wait for the album should be released in 2012...

"In the meantime, Destinity will appear on few festivals this summer (announced shortly) and we will join a final tour in Europe with Darkane (Sweden) and Devastating Enemy (Austria) during September / October 2011.

"There will be some dates in France too and this is the last chance for you to come support us before 2012 ! We hope to see you on the road! Destiny Sign To Lifeforce Records

Lifeforce Records is proud to announce the signing of a multiple album deal with French melodic Death Metal band DESTINITY. The band's first worldwide (excluding France) release via Lifeforce Records will be their album "The Inside" which was previously released through Rupture Music in France only. "The Inside" was recorded, mixed and mastered in August 2007 with Jacob Hansen (Mercenary, Raunchy, Deadlock).

DESTINITY, who is currently on the road with DEW-SCENTED (Nuclear Blast) and SEVERE TORTURE (Earache Records), was formed in 1996 and released 3 albums with Adipocere Records.

"The Inside" is set to be released on April 28th in Europe and June 24th in the US/ Canada.
