Evereve Issues "E-Mission" Recording Update

Gothic metallers Evereve have issued the following update about recording a new album:

"Once again it's time to give you an update on our state of affairs. The recordings of our 3-Song-cycle are in full swing. Drums, bass & guitars are done and already sound more than promising. You'll find some pictures of the sessions on our MySpace-site.

"Unfortunately we weren't able to pull off the vocal- sessions in January, but we have started in the meanwhile. At the same time, sound-wiz Joerg Huettner works on the "synthesized" parts of our vision. His first takes are already "on tape" as well, so that we expect to have all the ingredients for our EverEve-coctail somewhen in march/april. As mentioned before, we have incorporated a whole scope of new and different influences again.

Lyric-wise, "E-Mission" ties in with the songs of "Tried&Failed" which will be continued and re-imagined. With regards to content, the three songs "Revelation", "Reborn", and "Regret" are inspired by Dante Alighieri's "Devine Comedy".

"P.S.: To sweeten the waiting period we have a special treat for you: Marin C and MZ's long-awaited side-project "Ape Einstein" made its first steps toward the light of existence. You can visit the homepage.

"We will keep you posted as usual! Keep a stiff upper lip."

EverEve Announce Release Date For New Album

German Gothic metallers EverEve have posted the following update:

The longest and most intensive production process in the band history of EverEve has now come to an end.

“Tried & Failed” will be released on June 27th 2005 via Massacre Records/Soulfood. Besides the heavy guitars and electronic sounds, there is a strong emphasis on our orchestral, epic side. Once again we were supported by sound–guru Joerg Huettner, who in the meantime established himself in the film industry as well by participating in several major motion picture soundtracks (Catwoman, The Ring 2, Batman Begins, i.a.).

The content of the lyrics of “Tried & Failed” deals with the omnipresent human quest for indulgence, fulfillment and submission and its equally omnipresent failure in an emotiona, sexual and spiritual regard.
