Hatebreed To Headline Stillborn Festival

Connecticut hardcore veterans Hatebreed have announced the dates and support bands for its annual Stillborn Festival. The four dates, all taking place in late December, feature support from Four Years Strong, A Life Once Lost, This Is Hell, Trapped Under Ice, H20, The World We Knew, Thy Will Be Done and Strength For A Reason. Hatebreed Announces Canadian Tour

Long running hardcore act Hatebreed have just announced a series of concerts set to take place throughtout eastern Canada. Support on the tour will come from label mates Straight Line Stitch. The tour will also mark the band's first appearances in the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Korn And Hatebreed Pay Tribute To Slipknot Bassist

As was reported yesterday, Slipknot bass player Paul Gray was found dead in a Urbandale, Iowa hotel room at around 10:50 yesterday morning, with the cause of death currently unknown. Several of his peers have posted tributes online, including a video message from Munky of Korn. You can check out the tributes below.

Brian Fair (Shadows Fall): "I'm so crushed to hear about the passing of Paul Gray. I had the pleasure of first getting to know him on a press trip to New York City before our tour with Slipknot and Lamb Of God in 2005 and then sharing stages and good times with him and the boys around the world. He was a great musician, an underrated songwriter and a truly warm soul underneath the evil mask he rocked onstage. This is a huge loss to the metal world. He will be missed deeply." Kingdom Of Sorrow Posts Another New Song Online

Kingdom Of Sorrow, the band featuring Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta and Crowbar leader and Down guitarist Kirk Windstein, has posted another track from their forthcoming new album, "Behind The Blackest Tears" online. You can check out the song, "Enlightened To Extinction" by heading to the bands official Myspace page. "Behind The Blackest Tears" is the bands second album, following their self-titled release in 2008. It is scheduled to be released on June 8th through Relapse Records.

Final Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2010

The organisers of Belgiums biggest metal festival, Graspop Metal Meeting, has confirmed the final bands for this years edition of the event. The biggest news is that Soulfly, the band led by former Sepultura frontman Max Cavalera, will be headlining the event on the Saturday. Other bands added to the bill include New York hardcore legends Sick Of It All, former Guns N Roses guitarist Slash, Hatebreed, Revamp, Oceans Of Sadness and Dear Superstar. The festival takes place in the town of Dessel from June 25th-27th.

The lineup is now as follows:

Hatebreed Premieres New Music Video Online

HATEBREED has just released a new music video for "Everyone Bleeds Now" off their latest self-titled album. Check out the explicit director’s cut below.

The clip was filmed in Vienna, Austria during Hatebreed’s leg of the Machine Head Black Procession Tour. Martin Kames directed the new video and also programmed the band’s light show/pyro. The video will make its television debut on MTV2's Headbangers Ball airing Monday night, April 26th, at 3am EST.

The video is the second look from the new album and the follow-up to “In Ashes They Shall Reap.”

The band's self-titled album was released this past September on E1 Music.

The band will also headline the Jagermeister stage at this year's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival. Tickets are on sale now at LiveNation.com. Check www.mayhemfest.com for more information.

American hardcore superstars Hatebreed have posted the following message online, with regards to Type O Negative frontman Peter Steele, who passed away last night from a heart failure.

"Hatebreed would like to extend our condolences to the family, friends & fans of Peter Steele. He is one of the best guys we've ever toured with and a true legend! There will NEVER be anyone else like him. May he rest in peace."
