Rotting Christ Frontman To Make Solo Live Debut

Sakis Tolis, frontman of legendary extreme metal band Rotting Christ, who also released his debut solo album, "Among The Fires Of Hell" earlier this year, has announced that he will be performing for the first time as a solo artist at next year's edition of the Inferno Metal Festival, which will take place from April 6th-9th in Oslo. A message from Tolis reads as follows:

"My dear friends, I would like to announce my first attempt to perform live as a solo artist in the glorious Inferno Music Festival in Norway early next year. I will perform my first solo album, Among The Fires Of Hell', and songs that have never been performed from Rotting Christ and Thou Art Lord. Look forward to seeing you all there and meanwhile stay tuned for live updates from Rotting Christ. Spirit up brothers & sisters!"

Finnish folk metal legends Korpiklaani has been revealed as the latest confirmation for next year's edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, joining fellow Finns Nightwish and Insomnium, as well as Rotting Christ and Månegarm. The cruise will last from January 30th to February 3rd and will sail from Miami, Florida to The Bahamas, carrying sixty metal bands and a horde of fans.

Månegarm Added To 70000 Tons Of Metal Lineup

Swedish Viking/black metal veterans Månegarm has been announced as the latest confirmation for the 2023 edition of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise. Speaking briefly on the announcement, the band said:

"Ship ahoy sailors!

"We are back on the coolest metal event on the planet!

"See you onboard of 70000tons 2023!"

Other names already booked for the cruise are Nightwish, Rotting Christ and Insomnium, with fifty six more to be announced! The voyage will sail from Miami on January 30th and head to The Bahamas, after which it will return to Florida on February 3rd.

Rotting Christ & Insomnium Added To 70000 Tons 23

The organisers of the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise, the world's first and biggest metal cruise, have announced two further confirmations for next year's edition of the festival. Setting sail from Florida will be Finnish melodic death metal stalwarts Insomnium, as well as Greek extreme metal pioneers Rotting Christ, the latter of which will be celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of their debut album, "Thy Mighty Contract" by performing the record in full. Also announced for the cruise are Finnish symphonic metal favourites Nightwish, with a further fifty seven bands to be revealed in due course.

Greek extreme metal veterans Rotting Christ has announced that their upcoming show in Houston, Texas, which is scheduled to take place on May 16th, will be livestreamed. A statement from the band reads as follows:
