As We Fight Issues Band Update
Denmark's As We Fight has issued the following update about working on new material:
"You might ask yourself; are the boys in As We Fight working hard or are they hardly working? And it’s a fair question. With Jesper handing in his resignation in early September last year, one might think that this must be the end of it (read official statement below). But what seemed as lethal dose turned out to be pure EPO. We played a handful for killer shows as a quintet (one of which was given a 6/6 review) and it felt great and gave us the confidence to continue as a five piece.
"So right now we’re working hard on new rocking material with the tentative project title 'Rockcore.' Hopefully we’ll be ready for a late spring release, but we won’t just dash some mediocre metal off. We’re going to take the time needed for this material to be just the way we want it. And we will definitely try to keep everyone up to date on the process with news post, video clips, diaries etc., but please help us out by keeping an eye on our (almost) brand new Twitter page. We’re furthermore thrilled to announce that we have landed a gig supporting Underoath at Pumpehuset March 21st. Kick ass!!!" More...

As We Fight Issues Tour Report
Denmark's As We Fight has issued the following road report:
"Hey boys and girls.
"First and foremost I want to thank all you guys in Magdeburg, Rheinbach and Bochum, who came out and supported us during this past weekend. The last couple of years has been a bit of a hard time for AWF, but we're still fighting, and it means a lot to us to know that you guys still stand by us. Therefore I'm terribly sorry that we had to cancel the show in Hamburg two days ago. It's all my fault. I got sick and my voice set out. I promise all of you disappointed fans that we will be back asap to make it up to you. Thanks for your patience.
"All sentimental bullshit aside;) These last 3 shows were the first shows with AWF as a quintet. As some of you might have heard (or noticed) Jesper left the band earlier this year to dedicate himself to his studies (I think we got an official statement ready for you very soon). After his departure and lots of consideration we chose to move forward with just one singer. So this past weekend we had our first taste of the new constellation. To be honest: it worked out pretty good. O, Søren and Gun are doing a great job backing me up and we get more and more comfortable at every show.
"That is all for now. Check this spot regularly 'cause we will be posting a lot of tour reports and lots of other ridiculous stuff. Thanks for your time."
