Austrian melodic metalcore act The Sorrow posted up the second music video for band's latest LP "Misery-Escape," this time in the form of album opener "Retracing Memories." The album was issued in fall of 2012 via Napalm Records. A video for the "Burial Bridge" can also be seen at this locaiton.

The Sorrow To Record New Album

Austrian metalcore act The Sorrow recently inked a deal with Napalm Records. The band has now issued the following update about entering the studio to work on a new album:

"Now it's official... we will enter the Barracks Studios in Ratingen on the 5th of November to record our new album with producer and friend Sky van Hoff.

"We are in the middle of preprodution and so happy with the results. can't wait to record the new stuff.....stoked!!!"

The Sorrow Signs To Napalm Records

Napalm Records has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with The Sorrow:

"The Austrian metalcore band The Sorrow has joined the Napalm Records ranks and is currently working on their fourth album, which will be released in early 2012! The Sorrow has played more than 300 shows and festival gigs (including Wacken, With Full Force, Summerbreeze, Masters of Rock, Gods Of Metal, FME, etc.) in the past 4 years, making them one of the most active internationally-renowned German live acts around."

The Sorrow's guitarist Andy Mäser also commented: "We are thrilled about the cooperation with the entire Napalm team and are happy to have found a new 'partner in crime' after numerous successful years in the business."

The Sorrow Enters The Studio

The Sorrow entered Principal Studios in Senden, Germany with producer Toni Meloni on May 1st, 2010. The as-yet-untitled follow up to the band's sophomore album "Origin Of The Storm" (which entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 56 back in March 2009) is set for a late fall release via Drakkar Records. A video clip from the studio can be viewed below.
