Montreal metal band Plasmarifle has amicably parted ways with drummer Sean Connors. Vocalist Maynard Moore had this to say:
"We are sad to announce that Sean Connors will no longer be drumming for The Plasmarifle. He is leaving the band for personal reasons. We are very sad to see him leave, he is a great friend and drummer and will remain so. We wish him the very best of luck with all of his future projects. The hole that Sean leaves is sizable, and will be filled by Alexandre Dupras. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Alex in the many adventures we will experience as a band."
London's Siege Of Amida Records recently expanded their roster with the addition of four more bands.
Terminally Your Aborted Ghost is a death metal band from Boston, MA that has previously released material with Permeated Records and The Spew Records, among many others. Their SOAR debut will surface next summer. You can check them out here.
Hailing from Wales, Endurance Of Hate is categorized as "a superbly executed mix of melodic thrash metal in the style of Soilwork and the mainstream metal accessibility of bands like Killswitch engage and Funeral For A Friend." Some of their demo material can be heard here.
Meanwhile, Montreal's Plasmarifle features members of Neuraxis and plays a combination of death metal, grindcore, and progressive metal. Their debut full-length will surface in June 2008. You can listen to them here.
Finally, Implosive Disgorgence is a death metal/grind outfit from Pompano Beach, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band will release their debut album next summer. Their obligatory Myspace can be found here.
Via their recent deal with Ferret Music, all SOAR releases will be released in the U.S. through Ferret.
