Crocell has a new music video online, available in the player below, and the band also comments on the clip:
"As promised we give you the new music video for 'Tyrant of Iron,' which is the opening track from our fourth album, 'Prophet's Breath,' and the video combines three of the most essential Crocell elements: raw death metal, live concerts, and schnapps!
"All of the material was shot during our tour with Impalers this spring. If you were at one or more of the concerts, maybe you can spot yourself in the video?"
Crocell today unveils the cover artwork for an impending full-length album release, and the band comments:
"Here you go: the cover art for our forthcoming album, 'Prophet's Breath!' Like on 'Come Forth Plague' the front cover is painted by the tattoo artist Odin Roar Uldall while Tue Rislund has done the layout. Dark and apocalyptic, isn't it?" More...
After announcing the band's signing to Deepsend Records, today Crocell has issued the following year-end message to fans:
"Aside from a few concerts we haven't been that visible in 2014, but behind the scenes we have been working at full throttle writing, demoing and recording our new album, 'Prophet's Breath' - and now we are looking forward to a busy 2015.
"As announced yesterday we have inked a deal with Deepsend Records, who will release the album in the spring and on that occasion we have several concerts in the pipeline, in Denmark as well as abroad.
"We hope to be able to release a new music video and we hope to have the album out on vinyl as well, but at this time we can't promise anything so stay tuned for more info.
"One thing we do know: we are looking so much forward to present 'Prophet's Breath' to you, and we hope to meet a lot of you on the road in 2015.
"Have a great party tonight everyone!"
Denmark-based metal band Crocell has issued the following announcement about inking a record deal:
"As promised we have lots of good news coming up. And here is something good: we have signed a record deal with Deepsend Records for the release of our next album. The album will be entitled 'Prophet's Breath,' and you will love it!
"Deepsend has also released albums with quite a few other Danish bands such as Death Comes Pale, Deus Otiosus, The Cleansing, and Dawn Of Demise, and this new collaboration underlines the fact that Denmark is a great place if you are looking for solid death metal.
"No exact release date is set yet, but 'Prophet's Breath' will be out in the spring."

Asbjørn Steffensen - vocals
Tommy Christensen - guitar
Rasmus Henriksen - guitar

The Danish death metal band Crocell has parted ways with guitarist "Smukke" Ken Holst. A replacement for Ken has already been found in Rasmus "Hexen" Henriksen (ex-Panzerchrist, ex-Die, ex-Slow Death Factory) who is a longtime friend of Crocell.
Ken explains: "Somehow, down the road, I completely lost the spirit and commitment to taking this band further. Please welcome Hexen on guitar - he is the perfect match for this band! See you guys at the bar from now on."
Drummer Andreas Posselt comments: "We are sorry that Ken is no longer in the band as he is not only a gifted guitarist, but also a good friend. Ken was one of the driving forces behind Crocell when we started out six years ago and since then we have spent countless hours in the rehearsal room, in the studios, and on the road with him. Three albums and more than 60 concerts later, we would like to say thanks a lot for the ride and we wish you all the best! The rest of us are 100% committed to keep the band going, though, and with Hexen on board we are confident that Crocell is as strong as ever!"
Hexen will play his first show with Crocell at Radar in Aarhus, Denmark on September 7th.

"We have written seven new songs for the upcoming album, four of which can be heard in a prerecorded version on our Myspace profile. As previously announced we will play at the Devilstone Open Air Festival in Lithuania in July (alongside Sepultura, Keep of Kalessin, Sinister, etc.) and at this year's SPOT festival this weekend."
