Splattered Mermaids Announces New Tour Dates

Splattered Mermaids has issued the following announcement about upcoming tour dates and working on a new album:

"What's up grinders out there? Here comes some news from the Splattered camp! First of all we just wanna let you know that we have an upcoming European tour with Rectal Smegma. The tour starts May 25th, see dates below! If you live near the places we will play, enjoy our shows and grab a beer with us! Support the grind scene and get wasted! We have plans to enter the studio in July to record our second full-length album 'Reforged In Gore,' to be released later this year! More details coming soon!"

Splattered Mermaids Working On New Album

Sweden's Splattered Mermaids has issued the following announcement about writing new material for an upcoming second full-length album:

"It's time for a new update! We're busy writing new songs for our second full-length album, title to be announced very soon! At this moment we have 10 new songs and a couple more to do! We're very excited to get this out, and the songs has a good mix of what splattered mermaids is known for; chunky pounding brutality and breakdown moshparts! Stay tuned for more details..."

Splattered Mermaids Posts New Song Online

Swedish grinders, Splattered Mermaids, have uploaded a new song, "Female Dermal Body Coat," to their MySpace page. "Female Dermal Body Coat" will be released on an upcoming split-CD with FEKALIZATOR.

Splattered Mermaids Finishes Recording New Songs

Swedish grinders, Splattered Mermaids, have completed the recordings for their upcoming split-CD with FEKALIZATOR. The band has issued the following update regarding it:

"We are done in the studio! We entered Ninjastudion in our hometown Malmo last Friday 23d and recorded 4 tracks for the upcoming split-CD with FEKALIZATOR, coming out soon on Last House on the Right Records. We had a blast in the studio and now we will wait for mixing and mastering... then we will post 1 track on Myspace. Check out some pics from the studio in our gallery!" More...

Splattered Mermaids Begin Recording New Album

SPLATTERED MERMAIDS, the Swedish death/grind band featuring members of DERANGED and VISCERAL BLEEDING, has issued the following update:

"Finally, we entered the studio last week (January 2-5) in the south of Sweden... The recording of our new full-length album, 'Stench of Flesh', is done. It took us four days of hard and intense work to record our most brutal album ever. Now we will mix all tracks, the artwork is sick and almost done! Within 2-3 weeks we will send all stuff to our record label for pressing. 10 tracks in total, including one instrumental track and a re-recorded version of our old song 'By My Blade'. Prepare for fucking terror!!!! Release date is set to late February/early March 2008 [via the Czech gore-grind label Bizarre Leprous Productions]." More...

Splattered Mermaids To Enter Studio In January

SPLATTERED MERMAIDS, the Swedish death/grind band featuring members of DERANGED and VISCERAL BLEEDING, will enter Black Lodge studio in Sweden in early January to begin recording its new album, entitled "Stench of Flesh". According to a press release, the CD "will be brutal as hell" featuring "straight-forward deathgrind combined with groovy breakdowns and guttural vocals... the band's most brutal album to date!!" Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Gruesome", "Circular Holes in the Cranial Structure", "Corporal Manifestation", "Spliced Spleen Spices", "Throat Unsafe from a Pair of Scissors", "By My Blade" (re-butchered version) and "Stench of Flesh". A spring 2008 release via the Czech gore-grind label Bizarre Leprous Productions is expected.
