The Rivalry Records 2008 Showcase will take place on February 29th and March 1st at Gilman St. in Berkeley, CA. Doors open at 7pm and admission is $10 for each day. Tickets are only available at the door. Here's the line-up:

Featuring cover art by Dennis McNett, this collection features songs from some of the most recent Deathwish/Malfunction releases. Sacramento, CA’s TRASH TALK have posted a new song entitled “Lepers To Feed The Lepers,” off their upcoming Plagues EP for Malfunction Records, online over at their official MySpace page for your listening pleasure.
Trash Talk will release a new 7" EP titled "Plagues" on January 15th through Malfunction Records. Here's the official release:
"'Plagues' is their dizzying soundtrack to the impending and unavoidable apocalypse. Comprised of six violent anthems to the diseased and destructive survivors of a dead world. With every explosive note, they delve deeper into that bleak vision: 'All major cities have been laid to waste and survival has become daily life. This is the end of the world. Romantically doomed. The age of innocence is over and everybody knows we're fucked. Most have come to terms and have let defeat set in. Some haven't. Ostracized, morally outcast, and devoid of feeling, our pack has to outlast hunger, freezing cold, scorching heat, dehydration, and self destructive tendencies to survive to see just one more day.
